22.01.2022 Just a little break before we see you again! Due to the latest 5 day lockdown in Victoria from today until the end of Wednesday 17th Feb, our clinic will be closed. Telehealth sessions will be available in the meantime (we’re all pros at this now!), and we will re-open on Thursday 18th Feb! ... If you have an appointment during this time, one of our friendly team members will be in touch shortly! In the meantime, we hope you enjoy a quieter paced weekend, and time to rest your body and mind We’re looking forward to seeing you all again very soon! As always, please reach out if you need us! We’re only a phone call away

21.01.2022 Guess who's back, back again. Groups are back, tell a friend With the upcoming easing of restrictions (Melbourne you are awesome!), our group classes are officially returning as of tomorrow, Monday 9th of November Get in quick as we only have limited spots available, and they are already filling up fast!

18.01.2022 November is now officially Move-mber Over the month of November, Team DNA Health Group are participating in Movember. Were aiming to raise much needed funds and awareness for all the dads, brothers, sons and mates in our lives to better look after their health. The Movember movement is saving and improving men’s lives through projects focused on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.... Although a luscious mo' would look great on Danae or Jess, our team members are kicking butt with their respective activity related goals instead to inspire you. These include running 100km or ticking off daily movement targets You can donate to the cause and track our progress on the link below Thanks! https://movember.com/t/dna-health-group?mc=39 See more

14.01.2022 Where do you get exercise advice? In a survey conducted earlier this year, they found that 1 in 4 Aussies are getting their exercise programs or advice from influencers on social media. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Some "influencers" are highly qualified and give great advice.... But some don't. In fact, some of the information out there is downright dangerous. Here are some tips for sorting the good from the bad: 1) Find of the qualifications of the person giving the advice. Look for someone who is university qualified and registering with a governing body (like Exercise & Sports Science Australia). 2) A "one-size-fits-all" program doesn't really fit all! Exercise prescription should be individualised to your needs, fitness level and health status. This is especially true if you're living with or at risk of a chronic disease. 3) Pre-screening matters. The exercise professional should ask you some questions about your health before prescribing exercise. 4) Listen to your body. If something doesn't feel right, it probably isn't. Don't be scared to ask questions or get a second opinion See more

10.01.2022 Can you tell how excited we are about the news today!? Well done Victoria! We’re excited to be opening our clinic doors again tomorrow! Looking forward to seeing everyone who has a booking then! ... If you need to make an appointment, please don’t hesitate to get in touch on 9555 1221, or via our online booking link on our website! Note: this photo was taken pre-COVID, but rest assured, we’ll still have huge smiles under our masks!

01.01.2022 We might be wearing these bad boys next time you’re in, but we’re still the same clowns behind them As part of our compressive strategy to suppress the risk of COVID-19 transfer, you may encounter us wearing masks where maintaining a social distance is more difficult. While we may look a little scary, we promise we’re still smiling back there! We also encourage those who prefer to wear a mask to their appointment at this time to do so, although we DO NOT recommend wearing... your mask when exercising Photos + post update courtesy of our Movement Against Cancer team
