25.01.2022 Another little laundry revamp I did a while ago, new tiles, trough and hardware. Then the painter gave the walls and ceiling a lick of paint Sorry no before pics.

25.01.2022 First picture is a rough idea of what the customer was after with some small alterations, second picture is what I delivered.

19.01.2022 A little transformation, hiding all the office storage behind some built in sliding doors.

16.01.2022 What a beautiful day to be roofing a shed in the sunny south east

13.01.2022 A little mould treatment and some fresh paint on the ceiling and walls sure made this bedroom tidy up a treat

13.01.2022 Recently I turned some space under a mezzanine floor into a store room, simple frame and linings, with a cavity sliding door, plus some shelving down one side. Finished off a treat after some paint

12.01.2022 Trusses and purlins up today, makes it light work with a bobcat and jib Thanks to Ainsleigh Dowling at SE wheel alignment and tyre service for a quick repair of the bobcat tyres Friday

10.01.2022 When the job you had booked in gets postponed, what do you do? Come home and finish a job you started about 3 months ago, that's what haha. The boss should be happy when she gets home Out with the old rickety one piece slide unit and back to a basic two cupboard doors and shelves Same door just cut down to make two, second hand shelving and new hinges!

09.01.2022 A little day job cutting an opening in a laundry wall and putting in some French doors

09.01.2022 I recently gave this laundry a facelift, amazing what some skirt tiles, fresh sealant and a paint job does!

09.01.2022 A retaining wall build I've been involved with. Much better than the old warped pine sleepers and railway iron. At 80kgs a piece I'm glad I don't lift them all day every day!!

08.01.2022 Lovely 17m x 7.5m shed I’ve built, 4 roller doors and 3m enclosed bay down one end, horizontal clad which changes up an otherwise plain looking shed!

07.01.2022 I don't know about you guys, but we sure did get caught out with this sudden change of cooler and wet weather a while ago, so much so we had to resort to burning some green timber in the wood heater, which resulted in it restricting flow with soot and not drawing properly, even once we got dry timber it wouldn't burn right, but nothing a quick sweep with a brush won't fix! Burning like new again

07.01.2022 Some alterations to a shed at a winery/vineyard early last year, framed and finished lining one side wall and an end, also installed a second hand roller door.

06.01.2022 It’s been a long while between posts, as I’ve been kept very busy over the last few months but here’s a bathroom/laundry renovation I did last year. Completely gutted, new concrete floor, new ceiling and wall linings, then tiles, fittings and ready for paint! Came up looking mint

04.01.2022 Re-lined a ceiling in a spare bedroom a while ago due to sag, turns out the roofing members were undersized and over spanned, so a few extra timbers and it won’t be sagging again anytime soon.

04.01.2022 Another loft ladder installation, they really are such a handy thing to have

04.01.2022 Pouring concrete into footings and setting in bolts for a 4 bay garage this morning, ready to start building next week

02.01.2022 It’s been a while... so here’s some pics of a shearing shed re-roof I did a while back, along with straightening some walls, fixing up a landing and repairing some yards! Thanks to Adrian Gale at The Chapel Studio - Photography for the drone pics, gives a whole new perspective on the job. Also, hats off to Ben at Haynes Engineering for producing some absolutely spot on flashings

02.01.2022 I love my job, but when you find some hidden history like this, it makes it even more enjoyable! Sheeted/sealed it over again before cladding, so that one day, someone else might be lucky enough to find it like I did

01.01.2022 I had a busy day here yesterday, poured part of a shed slab ( got to test out the new troweling machine), then did a big road trip to pick up my canopy for my trailer that Clint @Congdon Engineering built for me a while ago. Such a great trailer that’s super strong, towed beautifully all the way to Melbourne and back! It will last me a life time I’m sure great job

01.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all of our past, current and future customers (and everyone in between) we hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and stay safe, Team Dobie
