The boys managed to go up 4-0 in the 3rd minute of the game. 19.01.2022 The Dockers family has been deeply saddened by the recent and tragic passing of Alexis, 16 year old daughter of our Opens player Joel. It is during times like these that we are reminded of how quickly life can change. The impact of Alexis’ passing will be felt by many, for many years to come, and as a community we wish to support the Saaghy family as best we can. To honour Alexis, donations are being gathered in her name for the Blue Datto Foundation, a not-for-profit chari...ty that seeks to reduce the incidence and impact of road trauma in NSW. This is done through driver education programs, community awareness activities and support services for those impact by road trauma. We invite anyone who is able to please consider donating to this cause in Alexis’ name, and to share. It serves as a great reminder for all of the responsibility of everyone on the road. 12.01.2022 PLAYING KIT ANNOUNCEMENT: Dockers would like to present the 2020 playing kit for our junior teams this season.

12.01.2022 Five Dock would like to congratulate the following people for their contributions to the club and Junior Rugby League this season. - Charlie Youssef, took on the roles of Ground Manager as well as Coaching the Under 8s Dockers Cubs who went undefeated all season. Charlie was nominated our Club Volunteer of the Year, well deserved Natalie Moro was Five Docks unsung hero this year! Away from Five Dock she’s a nurse and given the year it’s been with Covid you can imagine not ...only how busy she would of been but how hard she was working to keep everyone safe! Ontop of that Nat put her hand up and took on various roles within the Dockers, including Gear Coordination, First Aid, Level 1 Sports Trainer of our Senior Grade and Covid Safety Officer! This woman went above and beyond for not just the Senior Grade but the club and without her commitment and dedication I truly believe we wouldn’t have been playing footy this season! The past two seasons you’ve given great service to Five Dock and so it’s a no brainer that you were nominated for and won the June Maguire Woman In League award for the Balmain Junior League District. Very very deserving Nat and on behalf of Five Dock I can’t congratulate and thankyou enough! See more

12.01.2022 MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: The Dockers are pleased to announce that per the NSWRL that both Junior and Senior Grade competitions will take place in 2020! Training will recommence as of July 1st and the likely competition start date is July 19th. ... We cant wait to get back into it and Five Dock ensure that we will provide a safe and hygienic environment for all teams at both training and game days!

12.01.2022 Some good news for our Junior Grades as the government has confirmed return to play in July. However the Senior Grade is still under review, but the signs are positive after these first steps to get the kids back on the field!

07.01.2022 WERE BACK! Our COVID Safety Plan has been approved by both NSWRL & Inner West Council! And our Covid Safety officer has been selected Natalie Moro Thankyou for stepping up and taking on the role the club greatly appreciates your commitment to getting the Dockers back on the field and ensuring that Five Dock is safe and hygienic for all! We are officially allowed to re-commence training as of the 1st of July.... Training for Juniors will commence 5pm-6pm (Time to be confirmed) Wednesday nights Training for Seniors will start at 6:15pm - 8pm. Training is both Wednesday & Thursday nights. Please make sure you come to training dressed. The change rooms will NOT be opened. The canteen will also NOT be opened. Bring your own water bottle please. We look forward to seeing you all back at the park and smashing out another season! Dockers 2020

02.01.2022 At our 2020 Presentation Day, we had the great honour of awarding John Critchley a Lifetime Achievement Award for over 30 years of service to Five Dock RSL Junior Rugby League. During this time, John has taken on practically every role available in the club, from President, to Ground Manager, to fundraising, to first aid, to being an U6s coach for more than 20 years. John’s selfless commitment to the Dockers has played an immeasurable role in building up the great family clu...b we have today. His dedication is recognised through his life memberships with not only our own club, but also with Balmain Junior League and New South Wales Rugby League, and our major sponsor Club Five Dock RSL. It seems impossible to thank John for all that he has done, which is why we are honoured to have presented John with this Lifetime Achievement Award. We will never see another JC in our lifetime.
