23.01.2022 Everyone who is tested for coronavirus (COVID-19) helps us understand how the virus is spreading. We need Victorians to keep getting tested when they develop sy...mptoms, even if they’ve had the test or virus previously. It's not yet known if having coronavirus (COVID-19) gives you immunity in the future, so it’s important for everyone to get tested again if symptoms develop. Find out where to get tested: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/where-get-tested-covid-19

12.01.2022 Maintaining good hygiene is more than washing your hands Cleaning and disinfecting high touch surfaces regularly can help stop the spread of coronavirus (COV...ID-19). That’s phones, keyboards, door handles, light switches and bench tops to name a few. Step 1: Wipe dirt and germs off a surface using common household detergent products. Step 2: Disinfect the surface. Supermarkets stock common household disinfection products it is important to use products that are labelled "disinfectant" and to follow the instructions on the label. 07.01.2022 I have had few enquires from people who want to travel to Japan under exemption from the current travel ban. To be allowed an entry, you need: The COVID-19 PCR test which is conducted within 72 hours of the departure. Please note that current turnaround for PCR testing is 48-96 hours. So there may be a chance that you will not get the result before you depart! We cannot provide any guarantee about the turnaround time. Apparently, this 72 hour-requirement is world wide rec...ommendation, so Japan will not accept any excuses. With lots of uncertainties around, I recommend you to postpone your trip. Melbourne may not be your permanent home, but stay put now to protect you and your loved ones now. * This PCR requirement does not apply to Japanese citizen. Photo: Dr George Forgan Smith
