23.01.2022 Interesting article (with a misleading title and image!) confirming that monovision can interfere with depth perception and distance judgement and could theoretically increase the risk of traffic accidents... something to be aware of if you are considering or using monovision with contact lenses or lens implants or laser so you don't need to wear reading glasses... #eyehealth #glasses #contactlenses #monovision

Make no mistake, these taxes go nowhere near to paying for the damage these #drugs cause, but if they even give pause to someone taking them, that is a start ... in my experience, sugar is the most insidious drug of all, and the hardest habit to kick, and my feeling is that our childhood sugar addiction sets us up for other addictions later in life...

Laser pointers can be surprisingly dangerous to the #eyes, depending on the power of the lasers, which may not be adequately labelled... they can cause macular burns, and macular holes, with irreversible visual loss... the bottom line is, lasers are not toys, should be kept out of reach of children, and thrown out if not working properly. #eyeinjury #eyehealth #lasersarenottoys
