24.01.2022 A historical document of when I relived my teenage years as an grown man haha. Soundbombers was a production/rhyme duo I had with my good mate Ev from 2005-2008 with his brother AC Visionz along for the ride most of the time. After a few cool shows, it came to a halt when Ev joined Headstrong, but we had enough material for an EP. The Casta brothers are now a group called Soul Elixr and about to drop an LP. They’ve had a rough week so on the weekend I dug up this freshness f...rom 2008 and mixed and mastered it to lift em up. Visionz asked me about this track last month, so I thought it would be a dope surprise. It takes me back to a happier time when I was part of a 20+ group of people centred around our hip-hop crew Crackhouse Posse and I would get a text saying Partytown?. It meant ish was about to get real and sometimes the party went from Friday night through to Sunday. The track is about nothing - smoking, drinking, boasting - just having fun with my friends. Do it for the love of rhymes and nothing else so Visionz are they listening? I think they need help bro Well I’m gonna shout it louder ‘till they hear me in the outer atmosphere severe POP like gunpowder
