25.01.2022 Some restrictions are being lifted as you are all aware. We still have to maintain social distancing rules so we at the moment are still limited to amount of staff / customers we can have at one time. If your best friend needs grooming please please book ahead and even rebook after your appointment. A lot of grooming Salons have closed or are limited like us. So our phone is ringing all day and to answer we need to stop grooming answer phone , wash hands then go back to gro...oming. This is disruptive for your pets, if no one available to answer phone we are letting the calls go to answering machine, we are returning calls in order. We will get back to you. If you cannot make an appointment please let us know. Hopefully over the next few weeks we will see more changes and that will be great allowing us to get back to normal what ever that may be.

22.01.2022 Yes the temperature has cooled, but the days are lovely, if you feel you need to put a jacket on your dog overnight ensure you take it off during the day. Grooming is still very important during winter, we can do a longer cut so the coat remains knot free and manageable for you and your furry family is happy and comfortable. Or a warm bath, blow dry , brush out, toenails clipped , a trim around the face , clip hygiene area, and remove the hair under pads is maybe all your f...urry friends needs, ring us and ask for a mini groom. 20.01.2022 Winter is here... Well Queensland's version of Winter. We hear many people saying they would like to leave coat a bit longer in winter. The biggest issue is you will be making more work for yourself, the longer the coat the more dedication with the brushing and combing. Below are some photos of a dog clipped recently whilst the owner was brushing they just were not getting all the way through. Unfortunately the only way to help this situation was to clip it all off and he will actually be more comfortable. The skin under the matting is pink from the matts pulling everytime he moved. This puppy will be happier, be able to keep cool during the day and a nice comfy bed or blanket at night will keep him warm, at this length a coat can be worn but to be taken off in the morning.

15.01.2022 Appointments filling fast , the days are warming up and it appears the night temperatures are on the way up as well. We have been doing an in between length clip for our friends. They are able to keep cool on these warmer days but enough coat to keep the night chill away. Book now to get the day and time that suits your schedule to keep your friend comfortable in the changing weather.... For our bigger friends with those thick coats its time to come in and let us help get that under coat out which is probably falling on the lounge, floors and causing Mum or Dad a lot of vacuming.
