22.01.2022 Sunday Snoot #D4J #WorkingDogWarriors #Dogs4Jobs

22.01.2022 ***Please Help Us Save Them!*** What a week we have had. We've had sick pups, dentals, abscesses and injuries already this month. We have saved many precious lives, but the financial burden with this has been great. This weekend things have come to a head, with newly rescued Sooty becoming extremely flat, lethargic, vomiting and blood diarrhoea on Friday. Thankfully it's not parvo but he has been just as unwell. Sooty has been at the vets receiving round the clock treatment ...and today finally saw some improvement in him, hopefully he can come home tomorrow. Next is gorgeous Roxy, a surrender who came into care on Friday with a large wound on her leg and a very quiet girl who slept a lot. At her vet check, they found she had some mammary lumps that needed investigation even at her young age. When under anaesthetic today, the vets discovered Roxy had an extreme infection in her uterus, pyometra. We are so so thankful to have gotten this girl into our care and the treatment she needs, the alternative and she would have soon died a slow and painful death. She came home from the vets tonight and is very sore and sleepy. With the busiest time of year for dogs in need upon us, we really need your help with these costs to keep going. We need to raise about $5,000 to cover the above costs. If you can spare anything towards these precious and deserving dogs, we would be so grateful. You can donate via clicking the link on the post. Paypal donations can be made to [email protected] For bank transfer: Commonwealth bank Dogs4Jobs BSB 062 533 ACC 1022 1920 Ref Sooty and Roxy (please email [email protected] for a receipt) You can make card donations via the platform at https://www.givenow.com.au/dogs4jobs Dogs4Jobs is a registered charity and all donations over $2 are tax deductible. 05.01.2022 As well as being inundated with adorable pups, last week we undertook a big rescue mission from a rural QLD Pound, taking in 8 precious souls from the one pound 7 of them were surrendered to the pound by their owner who was experiencing homelessness. Pictured in order are: Rune, a 12 month old girl and her 2x 12 week old pups.... Banjo, 4 year old Kelpie x golden retriever boy. Albie, 6 month old Australian cattle dog female. Doser 12 month old border collie x cattle dog fella. And last two pics are Whiskas and Pam, 2 gorgeous border collie x cattle dog girls who are quite shut down and afraid of the world. They are all getting the care, treatment and exposure they now need, and it will be a long road for some of them. At the moment we aren’t considering applications for any of these ones, except Banjo, whose profile will be up on the website shortly. A big thanks to Chris from Wheels4Woofs for doing the big return trip to bust out all of these deserving doggoes, and to our incredible Warriors for putting their hands up last minute to fit them all in....
