Breeder ads on the Website... Members who have their ad featured on the DOGS NSW website should be able to log in and remove any contact phone numbers and replace with their email address, if it is not already featured. 17.01.2022 Written Approval from DOGS NSW is required for Show/Trial Draft Schedules The DOGS NSW Show Committee would like to remind Clubs that they must not accept entries for their Show/Trial until they have received written approval from DOGS NSW of the Show/Trials Draft Schedule. Their online entry provider must not open the Show/Trial for exhibitors to enter until the approval is received. Clubs are reminded of DOGS NSW REGULATIONS PART II SHOW, Clause 5.2(a) & (b), which reads... as follows:- 5.2 A Show Schedule shall not be:- (a) published until the approval of the Board of Directors has been obtained thereto; (b) amended either by addition, deletion, or variation, except with the prior approval of the Board of Directors as evidenced by a Memorandum signed by the DOGS NSW Secretary. Therefore, whilst a Club may advertise that they are having a show on a particular date, they must wait for approval before publishing the Schedule and accepting entries. 13.01.2022 CHANGES TO DOGS NSW REGULATIONS PART II - SHOW, CLAUSE 13.5(a) At the recent meeting held on 11 November 2020, the Board of Directors resolved to amend DOGS NSW Regulations Part II-Show, Clause 13.5(a), as follows:- Currently reads:... 13.5(a) In the case of a dog that is owned by two or more members jointly, the application for its entry in a Show need only be signed by one owner unless all joint owners of the dog have previously notified DOGS NSW in writing that applications for entry for that dog must be in the name of and signed by all joint owners thereof. Therefore, the previously scheduled DOGS NSW All Breeds Championship Fundraising Show has been rescheduled to be held on Sunday 27 September 2020. 09.01.2022 2021 FCI EUROPEAN SECTION SHOW IN BUDAPEST (HU) Due to the world sanitary situation (COVID-19, the FCI and the Magyar Ebtenyésztok Országos Egyesületeinek Szövetsége (MEOEsz) (Hungarian Kennel Club) inform that the 2021 FCI European Sections Show in Budapest )HU), originally scheduled to take place in may this year, is postponed to December 29-30 and 31st, 2021 with an international CACIB Show being conducted on 28 December, 2021. The MEOEsz will provide more information in a the near future.

08.01.2022 Dogs Queensland has confirmed today their 2020 CACIB Show which was to take place on 29 December 2020 as part of the Dogs Queensland Festive Fiesta has been cancelled due to timeframes and lack of being able to contract Judges with any certainty.

07.01.2022 At its meeting on 9th September 2020, the Board of Directors considered options for the resumption of DOGS NSW events and resolved as follows:- THAT an All Breeds Championship Show is to be conducted within 21 days. This Show will be conducted by DOGS NSW and will be held on Sunday 27 September 2020. Entries from exhibitors will not be accepted (within 14 days of the date of the show), if they reside in one of the latest COVID-19 case locations in NSW. ... The COVID -19 case location list will change on a daily basis and can be accessed via the following link: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates You can then scroll down to 'Areas and Suburbs with increased testing.' THAT Breed Specialty Clubs be offered the opportunity to hold Specialty Shows as from 1 October 2020 with restrictions on times and ring allocations in order to deal with numbers in attendance. THAT all Sporting Discipline events may commence immediately. THAT Affiliate other activities. eg, All breeds shows, etc, commence from 1 October 2020 and that they be allowed to place restrictions on entries from exhibitors who reside in the current hot spots within 14 days of the date of the event. Affiliates conducting these events must submit a COVID Plan to DOGS NSW Office via [email protected]. Affiliates are advised that if they have submitted their draft Schedules to the Office for dates in September 2020, and they have not been paid for or approved, then these shows CANNOT proceed on those dates. **ALL EVENTS MUST BE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NSW GOVERNMENT COVID-19 RULES!!**

The Member must keep records and make those records available to any person authorised, in writing, to DOGS NSW Secretary pursuant to resolution of the Board of Directors as follows: (ii) Evidence of current vaccinations, worming, heartworm, flea and tick treatment/preventative, for all dogs owned or controlled by the Member. This could include Veterinary records that should be made available if required. (07/20) VACCINATIONS Core Vaccines (C3) cover life threatening diseases, such as distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus. Non-core vaccines cover diseases that may arise and are useful in response to an outbreak or high risk area - includes Kennel Cough, Tetanus, Leptospirosis, Corona Virus, etc. Be amended by the inclusion of an additional dot point as follows:- 28. The Member must keep records and make those records available to any person authorised, in writing, to DOGS NSW Secretary pursuant to resolution of the Board of Directors as follows: (ii) Evidence of current vaccinations, worming, heartworm, flea and tick treatment/preventative, for all dogs owned or controlled by the Member. 03.01.2022 Last week the Executive Committee approved an amendment to DOGS NSW Regulations Part XIII-Code of Ethics, Clause 4, as follows:- DOGS NSW Regulations Part XIII-Code of Ethics, Clause 4, which currently reads:- 4. A Member commits to compliance with both the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1979 and the Companion Animals Act 1998 and their related Regulations as well as to the NSW Animal Welfare Code of Practice Breeding Dogs and Cats.... Be amended to read as follows:- 4. A Member commits to compliance with both the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1979 and the Companion Animals Act 1998 and their related Regulations, so far as those Acts and Regulations relate to animal cruelty and welfare, provided that a member is not required to commit to comply with the NSW Animal Welfare Code of Practice - Breeding Dogs and Cats until it is substantially updated. 03.01.2022 FCI EUROPEAN SECTION SHOW IN CELJE (SI), 2020 & COVID-19 The Kinološka Zveza Slovenije Cynological Association of Slovenia regretably informs, that due to the world sanitary situation (COVID-19), they are forced to definitively cancel the 2020 FCI European Section Show. The Show was originally scheduled to be held in October 2020 and postponed to May 2021.
