22.01.2022 We have been quiet the last few months, and here’s one of the reasons why (apart from our family and work lives) We are excited to announce a very special litter born October 10th 2020, sired by 12 year frozen semen by Australian Champion Theano Vin Diesel Vinnie and out of our home bred girl Taureauxroug Goblet Of Fire Rizo. The odds were stacked against us as Rizo, very surprisingly, only has 1 uterine horn (pictures available for those who would like to see as it’s ve...ry interesting) and the semen used, was not of great quality. 4 vials produced 2 little red mask girls. The girls were born quiet blue and took the vet team some 15 minutes to get them established. The girls were born at 521gm & 447gm. The fun didn’t stop there. When we got home, Rizo wanted nothing to do with them. Not uncommon after a Caesarian for a maiden bitch however, her body language suggested she did not have nice intentions, so we decided to abandon the idea of trying to work through her maternal issues and to reduce the stress for everyone, the pups would be hand raised. Tube feeding is an art, and one we have become so use to and confident now we have done it multiple times. Things were going well until day 8, when the smaller girl could not settle and would not feed. We struggled all day and by late evening, she had passed over the bridge . We were devastated at her loss. Thankfully, the remaining girl has been coming along well, and started taking the bottle. Now she is almost 5 weeks old she is exploring her environment and meeting the other, smaller members, of our household. This special little lady, our Lady Lux, will be staying with us.

22.01.2022 Dudley had his follow up eye exam on Wednesday. Great to hear that his PPM has virtually all but disappeared. What was large spots on his eyes from the early infection is now just a few small dots. Great news is that there looks to be no long term damage. Mum Tina is doing a wonderful job raising him. A great weight 26.3kg at 5 months of age.

16.01.2022 This handsome boy "Doug's" is in need of a forever home. He is Oona & Iiah’s brother, located in South Australia. He has just turned 5 years, is desexed and in excellent health. Hip and elbow scored with excellent results. He is a big softy with his family, best suited to a couple with no small children or pets. He is a big strong boy and would suit an experienced large breed owner. Doug's is located in South Australia and will be available in October. He is spending some time with his trainer to help him adjust and settle into a new family and environment. If you have room in your home and life for Doug's - please drop Vicki a message.

14.01.2022 We will start to look for a new home for Sarge. Sarge is from our E litter, born 8 August 2017 and returned to us about 2 months ago. He still has a few things to check off before to is ready to leave however it would be good for him to meet his potential new family and get to know them before he sets off. His full history will be disclosed to any serious enquires. Sarge needs someone who is experienced and confident with giant breeds, as he is a large boy about 65kg. A home with no other pets or children is a must also. Potential new homes will be well vetted. Must be local to Perth to be able to meet him and so we can do our home check when finalising adoption.
