15.01.2022 It was a great weekend for us at Dolce and Salato, firstly we had a very special event for a family friend that we were so incredibly honoured to be apart of which included this yummy choc mud and white choc mud gluten free semi naked cake and gluten free treat board , then later in the afternoon we were lucky enough to be able to assist the absolutely amazing boss babe @missarahglover and her talented team at @thewild_kitchen for another beautiful event! We hope your weekend has been as good as ours!

14.01.2022 It is with the upmost sadness I have made the decision to close the door on Dolce & Salato Tasmania. With the current health crisis and the new laws and guidelines regarding weddings, gatherings, cafes and restaurants it's unfortunately brought the end to both my regular cafe stockists and private catering bookings. Closing my business after less than 6 months of operating is absolutely heartbreaking but the toll of Covid-19 is not only emotionally crippling but financially... crippling also. My heart goes out to all those in the same position of closing doors, loosing bookings and to those losing money by opening their doors, keeping on staff in the hope of staying open one more day. Lastly I wish to encourage you to remain kind, keep supporting local and to remember that so many are hurting in this time and patience and understanding goes a long long way. C.

08.01.2022 I'm so thankful for passion! It's what allows me to do what I do, after working in hospitality for 14 years (I started my first job at 15!) It's easy to lose passion and for me after having my 2 beautiful daughters working back in a commercial kitchen was not high on my list of priorities but I am so glad for the opportunities that led me to starting Dolce and Salato Tasmania!
