23.01.2022 OK Ladies, Lizzie and I have been invited to go and judge the reborn section in the Sunraysia Doll, Teddy and Toy club 20th annual show at Mildura on Sat and Sun July 13th and 14th so who is going to be going and who is going to enter a doll, Last year it seems they only had 8 entries in the reborn section so we want to see lots and lots of reborn entries to make our trip over there worth while so lets see if we can make this a huge success and show them what reborning is all about, Jackie.

20.01.2022 Hello everyone Well what a year it has been, Our first show has come and gone and was a huge success and Thanks goes to everyone who was involved and helped to bring it through to fruition whether you were a competition entrant, a Trader, a committee member or an interested person just coming through the door of the show I want to thank you all for your generous support without you all we could not do what we are now planning to do for this year and the following years to c...ome. Dolls Alive II 2014 is already in the planning stages and is shaping up to be even bigger and better so if you can continue with that support in whatever way it really helps us bring to you those people and artists to give you the ongoing help and interest in your endeavours to further your skills and knowledge in your chosen craft,. Can you actually believe we have been running for over a year now where has that time gone? So now it is time for our first AGM and the re-election of our executive committee. Also for the renewal of memberships, to be on the committee you have to be a paid up financial member of the guild also your membership covers you for your public liability insurance to trade at both the SA Reborn Doll Guild show at Fullarton but also for the Adelaide Hills Doll Guild show at Hahndorf too. If you would like to join us for our first AGM it is being held at the Fullarton Park Centre on Friday Feb 7th at 10.30am. the meeting will run for around 2 hours. You might like to consider joining the team of committee members even if not in an executive capacity we always are grateful for any help we can get. Please do consider joining us as a new member or renewing you existing membership, like I said before this all goes towards helping us being able to financially afford to bring you guests artists from within Australia and Overseas too. 19.01.2022 Announcing our ALL NEW porcelain slip. Every couple of years the clay's in the mines change and we have to reformulate. We had to discontinue both Alabaster a...nd Wicker, which are for the antique doll people. Impurities were starting to show up. But God was looking over my shoulder during the testing phase and we are proud to introduce European White. Our whitest porcelain yet. It fires wonderfully to a cone 6 but for nightlights or things you want extra translucent it fires to a cone 7 without blistering. It pours wonderfully as well. We are very excited about our new addition and will be adding it to our shopping cart system over the weekend. See more

12.01.2022 Oh My Gosh where does the time go we have already been back from our trip a whole week now and it's time to concentrate on our up and coming SA Reborn Doll show which is now only 4 weeks away today, so time to remind all you ladies and gents if there are any that the closing date for competition dolls and bears etc. is now less than 2 weeks away Friday Sept 26th so if you haven't entered your dolls and bears etc. please help us by getting your entry form posted soon we had 10...0 reborn entries last year can we top that this year? I really would like to think we can so if any of you were just toying with the idea of entering a doll please bite the bullet and just do it, it is a lot of fun we have extra categories this year for Ethnic, Animals and Fantasy entry forms are available to download from our website, Don't forget if anyone has a Alicia Toner kit there is a special category for her reborned dolls too.
