24.01.2022 This is a very sad day for us all in the Dome family. My name is Nigel and Ive been the CEO and co-owner of the Dome Café Group for nearly 20 years. I can reme...mber the time when our team numbers were counted in the tens and not the thousands that we have today. In that whole time whilst weve been expanding with new cafes and hiring more and more amazing people, weve been careful to keep things small, humble and hands on.carefully growing our beautiful cafes across the land. Never could we have imagined a situation such as that occurring over the next few days where all your favourite Dome Cafes will be going into a most unexpected period of hibernation. Each and every Dome Café is a place of welcome and comfort, where people from all walks of life come to connect and interact. Unfortunately, at this most unusual of times, we are unable to be that much cherished place for you all. Wherever you may be from Esperance to Port Hedland, and everywhere in between, thank-you for making us part of your lives. To our amazing, beautiful owners, managers and team members who fill our cafes with sunshine and smiles each day, we cant wait to reunite with you on the other side and admire once again what you do so well. 23.01.2022 Dear valued guests. It is with a sad heart that I inform you that as of 2pm today 28th March 2020 we will be closing our doors to all trade. I Appreciate the continued support but for now I am of the opinion that staff and community health surpasses our limited service. I wish to thank my fantastic staff and customers. ... We as a community are all in this and rest assured we will be apart of the re build in Albany. Until then I wish you all health and please take care. 22.01.2022 Dear Guests, We are very happy to announce the reopening of Dome Albany on the 18th May from 6am-5pm seven days a week. Our first week will only be Takeaway coffees, drinks, cakes and a limited menu of your Dome favourites. We look forward to adding a Dining in element from the 25th May working within the regulations now in place. We appreciate your support and patience throughout this time. We have been busy painting, cleaning, polishing and hope you will agree the Cafe looks amazing! Guest registration still required, 2sq metre distance between tables and strict cleaning regimes mandatory so, please be patient with us as we move forward into this next stage. 05.01.2022 Good morning. Like all business in todays environment we find ourselves working the best we can to protect our community and continue to provide a service. As at 12.00 pm today the cafe floor will be closed to patrons. We will continue to serve takeaways. The full menu is available, in the coming hours we are working on developing a system that will enable us to provide a user friendly takeaway service. Our new trading times will be 6am to 2 pm as at 24th March 2020. The D...ome Albany family is deeply saddened by unfolding events. Obviously the situation is changing rapidly hence we will continue to adapt as quickly as possible. In this time we operate no longer in the view of obtaining profits, but to provide employment with in the confines of safety to our patrons and staff. We are all very aware that everyone is effected and working through each day as it comes. All I ask is we remain positive, respectful and help each and everyone you can. Strength in unity, compassion and kindness will see us through this. We are continually great full for the support we receive.
