25.01.2022 Thank you all so much for the past two Thursday’s. It was so good to see everyone dress up and have a great time, and as you can tell we also had such a fun time! Keep an eye out for next school holiday events, they’re going to be bigger, better and oh so much more fun!

22.01.2022 WE’RE BACK MONDAY! (18th of May). Our opening hours will be 6am - 5pm everyday. We’re coming back with a special takeaway food menu but more importantly our COFFEE . Unfortunately we won’t be implementing the dine-in service at this stage, however we’re sure this won’t be far behind.... We hope to see all your beautiful faces then!

19.01.2022 PYJAMA DAY IS HERE! Craft and movie day is waiting for our younger guests while chilling in their PJs, upstairs today from 9am to 3pm. Popcorn to go with movies, lots of crafts to do just waiting to be completed. Our wonderful junior menu is available in takeaway boxes so you don't miss your favourite movies. Were looking forward to seeing you all soon! And of course our wonderful coffees and full menu is still available for the parents!

You can take him anywhere, knowing he’ll be on his best behaviour and greet strangers politely. The little one is classic second child always jumping around trying to get your attention. He’s completely reckless and will run off without any concern for his safety. Even your firstborn feels the need to look out for him! For making the entire family feel welcome, there’s no place like Dôme. #dogsofdome

13.01.2022 We have some good news on this gloomy day! WE'RE OPEN FOR DINE IN! We're offering our FULL MENU for dine in or takeaway 6am - 5pm everyday!... Unfortunately we're only able to invite 20 guests in to dine with us at once, so in saying this we will appreciate that you consider how long you dine in for as we may have others waiting. We want to make sure you know that we're going to extreme lengths to make sure we're following the government requirements for the entire cafe to be sanitized and cleaned correctly so you're safe from any bad germs. Lastly, from the team at Dome Secret Harbour we're so grateful for the support during our first week of opening and we're so excited to get back into the swing of things so we can supply some great coffee and food.

11.01.2022 Hello again. My name is Nigel and I’ve been the long-time CEO and co-owner of the Dome Café Group. Seven weeks ago, I wrote a little note on this same Facebook ...page on what was a terribly sad day. I, together with our head office team, cut our salaries to zero as we joined our café teams in going into a strange period of hibernation. This was a very scary time. But guided by the bright light of our brand being ‘a place of welcome and comfort’ we knew that closing our doors for a while was the right thing to do for each of our café business owners, our team members and our guests. I have appreciated the many personal notes from our frontline people offering thanks not only for keeping their pay cheques going over this period, but putting their personal welfare and safety squarely ahead of any opportunity we may have had for short-term pandemic sales and profits. I love my daily fix of Dome as much as anyone else but where the sole agenda for our whole community was to avoid all non-essential social contact, then Stay Home, Save Lives was, for us, the only priority. With The Dome as a place where more than a million people in WA usually meet each month, we’ve no doubt ourselves made a decent contribution to flattening that wretched Covid-19 curve and laid a few pavers in the path to recovery for us all. During this week of takeaway-only sales we’ve been gradually opening our cafes, getting our pantries re-stocked and our beautiful people back on deck. It’s still not a time for focus on revenues but for smiles, laughter, reconnection and preparation. From next Monday 25th May, our wonderful dining rooms will progressively re-open for full-menu service albeit with the required limited numbers. Thank-you so much for keeping us in your memory at a time when we could not welcome you in person. In the weeks and months ahead, as restrictions gently ease we so look forward to again becoming that cherished ‘place of welcome and comfort’ for you all. Love, Nigel. See more
