25.01.2022 Congrats Sarah and 1,000 Hearts on their journey

25.01.2022 Hey, Dom here A common question I often get from potential clients is "Do you use Wordpress to create your websites?" While platforms like Wordpress, Squarespace and Wix are all popular and really useful for some businesses, they can often be overwhelming and leave a website out of date after a few months. At Domin8 Designs we use Webflow to develop our websites, which doesn't require that constant updating of features or security plugins and allows us complete design free...dom. A key part of our services is to then work with clients to ensure their online content, such as text, news, products and SEO are all kept up to date. If this is a question you've had, I wrote a blog explaining a bit more over at https://www.domin8designs.com.au//what-do-you-use-to-creat

25.01.2022 It’s been amazing to see the influence of 1000 Hearts continue to grow Sarah has been consistently utilising the website editor to add new blogs and perform minor content tweaks to her site; to keep visitors and the Heartist community engaged.

23.01.2022 COVID-19 saw a lot of Tasmanian businesses turn to eCommerce in 2020, but what will 2021 look like? Check out Shopify's "Future of Commerce" report, which may be handy for sellers continuing to build their online presence next year. https://www.shopify.com/future-of-commerce/2021

23.01.2022 Using Shopify to run your online store? It's pretty easy to launch a great looking eCommerce site using platforms like Shopify - but there are some search engine optimisation (SEO) aspects that can easily be overlooked in the excitement... While we use Webflow primarily, sometimes we integrate with Shopify, and so recently did some research on optimising SEO for eCommerce stores. ... Here's a summary of some things you can do to improve your search engine rankings that you might not realise: 1. Create a unique title and add meta descriptions for both your pages, collections and products; 2. Optimise your images; 3. Submit your sitemap to Google Search Console; 4. Setup and integrate Google Analytics; 5. Build high-quality backlinks to your Shopify store (i.e. other websites that refer to your store); 6. Consider the blog feature on your store; 7. Remove duplicate content, collections and products. We love helping clients like Azza Pacific Pty Ltd and Only Orb on their Shopify stores and SEO - so if you'd like a hand on any of the above tips, feel free to get in touch. #domin8designs

18.01.2022 Logo design for a wood resource and veneer company From a concept point of view, the logo incorporates the primary letter of the business name - integrated with strips of wood (is the veneer) forming the lower side of the R. The logo also needed to feel ‘solid’, hence the use of a bold font; but also show some uniqueness - achieved through the individual profiles to each ‘timber veneer strip’.... The client rolled out their new logo on business cards and letter heads earlier this year, in what was a great project with a quick turn around and successful result #domin8designs See more
