23.01.2022 Today we are working on this very beautiful 30yr old Maton electric. The owner has been reluctant to send her to anyone due to the age & sentimental value, but after coming here & seeing the care & effort we put in he was happy to leave her. Feeling very flattered & grateful indeed!!! ... - Full refret - Hand made Bone nut - Full check over, clean, oil etc - Full set up. Cheers Benny

22.01.2022 This is a beautiful 20yr old Valencia acoustic we just did a full service/set up to. The Fretboard was literally black with age & gunk, frets were dull & unseated & the nut was out of place, not to mention the action was high enough to fly a plane under!!! Now she sounds & plays absolutely gorgeous with a really deep rich tone. ... Cant wait to see our new student George belt out a tune on her. Cheers Benny.

19.01.2022 Wow Wow Wow!! Just feast your eyes on this absolutely stunning ESP Custom Shop TB-7 string in Shell Pink. Our good friend & customer Aaron added this to his growing collection recently & was eager to bring her over to us for a full check over......and were glad he did!! Upon a full check over it was found that there were quite a few unseated frets, the frets themselves werent crowned properly, the bone nut wasnt cut correctly from factory & one that surprised us greatly -... the bridge, supposedly a TonePro, had failed under the pressure of the strings resulting in an under bow - meaning the centre had dropped bellying towards the body changing the radius drastically. So, we did the following - - glue & reseat all unseated frets - full fret dress - ebony fretboard clean & re-polish - bone nut filed & corrected - brand new TonePro bridge fitted - full set up - full polish & was with HCG products Huge thanks to our man Mick from Harron Custom Guitars for getting the bridge for us through the wholesaler - your help is always appreciated Aaron was absolutely blown away and so happy with the playability now - also keep an eye out for his band Inferiority Complex - these guys are going places fast!! 18.01.2022 Words truly cannot describe the pride & feeling of accomplishment in completing easily the biggest overhaul to date weve ever done on this absolutely stunning & downright HOT lookin Steve Morse Musicman!! Our customer Darren presented us with one hell of a task a while back which included 3 pages of his own instructions!! Being a 20yr old axe we ended up needing to do a lot more than originally planned however the end result was totally overwhelming for us & especially ...Darren who was speechless when he picked her up over the weekend. So we did the following....(warning-long list to follow) -Full Re-fret with 100 x 51 Jaycar NS & Re-radius to error correct back to 12mm radius -Hand cut bone nut -Brand new Gotoh Japan TOM bridge replacement with Trem posts removed & modified to top adjustment posts & threaded body inserts drilled & pressed in -Bridge & neck pickup swap to Seymour Duncan custom 5 (bridge) & P-rail (neck) Tesi poco 12mm momentary kill switch with blue LED (activated when plugged in) 3 way ON/OFF/ON Switch to control P-rail positions independently Full Re-wire with CTS audio taper pots, Russian paper in oil capacitor, treble bleed, CRL 5 way Super switch for the following pickup positions - 1 - Bridge 2 - Bridge split & bridge side single coil 3 - Both single coils 4 - Neck single coil & P-rail 5 - P-Rail All up there were 53 individual solder points in this wiring job!! After researching, studying & printing out close to 8 seperate wiring diagrams we (a little nervously) went to work on creating this absolute TONE monster!! Everything works perfectly & this baby plays as smooth & fast as silk & sounds amazing!! The tonal options is just phenomenal! Thanks to anyone who has read this far!!! Phew.....!! We sure earned a beer on this job!! Huge thanks to Darren for this opportunity & the trust in bringing this beast back to life!! Cheers Benny

13.01.2022 Check out this mean looking Steve Morse Musicman signed AND once owned as a studio guitar by the man himself She is in for a complete overhaul from top to bottom for one of our loyal customers Darren from the awesome cover band 40 Rock, & who is the musical equivalent of Doc Emmett Brown!! -Full Fretboard re-radius & re-fret with Jescar med-jumbo frets... -Hand cut bone nut -Full re-wire inc bridge & neck pup change over, 3 way switch to control neck P-Rail alone & a Tesi 12mm momentary kill switch, new CTS tone/vol pots, treble bleed & a 5 way blade selector. 09.01.2022 We just finished doing a major service to this stunning Fender Duo-Sonic. She is now playing smooth, fast & sustain for Daaayyyssss!! The frets were poorly seated from factory so we glued & re-seated them followed by - Fret dress, Fretboard scrape clean & oil... Hand cut bone nut 25 deg neck shim Saddle clean & polish Body & headstock polish Full set up All ready for Jord from Teenage Dads to rock out on at their next gig!!

08.01.2022 YEP!! We also do violin re-stringing & set ups! This Stentor student violin came in for a service. We adjusted the bridge string heights, bridge & sound-post position, polish & general clean up & a fresh set of Pirastro strings! ... Shes now sounding brighter with better sound transference & ready to play you a sad song!!

We did the following :... - Fret re-seating, fret dress inc fall away added past the 12th - Fretboard scrape, clean & lemon oil - Hand cut bone nut - Full Trem service inc Knife edges re-cut, filed & polished, trem plate & saddle string grooves polished - 5 deg neck shim installed -Polish & wax to the body front & back - Full set up, intonation & lube to all moving parts Was a pleasure working on this girl, now she plays absolutely amazing. Dave was very happy with the outcome & couldnt wait to play it at his next gig!! Cheers Benny
