04.01.2022 Day 2 blog here! Darwin to Kakadu!! https://northernterritorydc2018.wordpress.com//day-2-darw/

01.01.2022 Adventure Rec is in full swing again in 2018 with a fresh group of adventurers learning about becoming more comfortable and skilled in our amazing natural places here in Hobart. The focus for the first half of the school year is in water-based activities, with student displaying there aquatic skills in the pool and the beach, and a raft building challenge, before undertaking a comprehensive surfing unit. The students were luck enough to have expert coaching from Coastrider Surf Academy who showed this years group of stoked grommets all the basics of wave riding and beach safety at Clifton Beach. The unit was finished off with a surf camp to Bruny Island where students had plenty of time to push the limits of their surfing skill and progress to turning and riding unbroken waves.
