These guys are amazing and rescue animals from death row, pounds and owner surrenders and find them a loving home giving the animals a second chance at life. 07.01.2022 $1 DONATED FOR EVERY PIZZA SOLD WEDNESDAY 27th 9:30AM-11PM Let’s raise some dough for Mark and his family ... Mark’s story: What started as feeling very lethargic with a slight cough, rapidly turned into something life threatening. Mark felt run down over the Christmas and New year break, so he went with his wife to her doctor’s appointment, where a routine blood test was ordered for him. That same day the pathologist called Mark and told him to head straight to the hospital. Which he did, he went to the Redcliffe Hospital, following a few tests, he was sent directly to the Royal Brisbane Hospital. The following day he was formally diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). There are a lot of variations of leukemia and unfortunately the one he has is rare in adults, which makes treatment a little more complex. His chemotherapy treatments started 3 days following diagnoses, and they expect he will have to remain in hospital for at least a month to start with. He will then require ongoing admittances to hospital for Chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant and frequent tests. They expect he will be off work for at least 12 months. Sarah and Mark live 35km from the hospital, so, about a 40-minute trip each way depending on traffic. Whilst Sarah continues to care for their two children at home, Deakin 8 and Kalina 4, she is also travelling in to see Mark every day. She too has had to take some time off work. Mark is a hard-working family man and they are a fiercely independent family, who have worked hard every day for everything they have. No one expects or wants to ask for financial help, but they will need it during this trying time. Even with insurance cover, there are waiting periods and additional travel expenses and costs involved in this fight. Funds raised will help with bills, parking / travel and general family running costs.

01.01.2022 At Dominos, the health and safety of our team members and customers is our number one priority. With safety in mind, we have made a few changes to our operations and procedures. The key changes are listed below... DELIVERY CUSTOMERS... All deliveries are ZERO CONTACT - This means we will place your delivery order on a safe surface, call or text you to let you know we have arrived and will step back 2m while we wait for you to collect Card is preferred, however at this stage we are still accepting cash PICK UP CUSTOMERS All pickups are ZERO CONTACT We have marked out the store where to stand when picking up or placing an order We are asking all customers to wait outside while their order is cooking We have recently installed a new customer screen which is visible from the outside and also a microphone to help us call out orders SANITISATION A hand sanitiser is set up for customer use Sanitising more regularly in the store and in the customer area (including eftpos machines) Our goal is to stay open for as long as possible to help service our community and were hoping that by doing so it will open up many job opportunities for the local community during these uncertain times If there is anything that we can do to help anyone out, please be in contact.
