22.01.2022 I'm now officially on maternity leave, planning on returning to work at the end of the year. Thank you to all of my wonderful clients. Hopefully I'll see some of you then if you decided to use me again for grooming your pooches. xxx

22.01.2022 ***UPDATE*** I’m trying to keep everyone updated and informed as I can. A lot of people will already know that it has been announced that mobile (and at home) grooming will be able to open from the 19th October, as long as the case numbers are met. This is such fantastic news for myself and all my wonderful clients that are waiting patiently for my return. However... As we enter the next 14 days leading up to the 19th October we need to have our daily case numbers at 4 or be...low as an average. If the numbers are above this then it will be another 14 days from the 19th before we can go to the next step. As hopeful as I am, I also have to be realistic and want to prepare everyone for that possible outcome. Please if your dog/s are getting desperate for a groom call around the local salon and commercial groomers to get them in for a hair cut. I hope you are all going well and keeping your spirits up...I know that can be a really tough thing to do considering everything. I still have a handful of available appointment for regular clients (small/well behaved dogs only at the moment) but time is flying by. 14.01.2022 *** SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT*** With stage 4 coming in as of 11:59pm Wednesday the 5th August I will have to close my business for the 6 weeks as stated in the new restrictions. This means I will have to cancel all appointments for now. I'll be in contact with everyone over the next few days. I'm sorry I have to do this but hopefully after these stricter rules we can start getting back to a more normal life.... If you have a grooming emergency or any other animal health needs during these 6 weeks, vet clinics will remain open for these purposes. 14.01.2022 Just a reminder I'm very close to taking leave. I've got a couple of appointments left tomorrow morning/lunch time (Tuesday 19th March) but that's pretty much it. 14.01.2022 ***ANOTHER ANNOUCEMENT*** Good morning! I hope everyone has been making the best of a pretty strange time, especially these last few weeks which have been extremely limiting to our normal lives. With the new ‘roadmap’ that was announced yesterday it looks like I’ll be closed for a few more weeks. At the moment the end of September is the soonest I’ll be able to open and this will still depend on case numbers. ... I will be in contact with everyone who either had an appointment that I can to cancel or who has requested an appointment as soon as I’m back running. Remember that if your pet has any urgent grooming or health needs then vets are open for this. 10.01.2022 Most of my clients know by now that I'll be taking a short break for about 2 months coming up in middle June. Nows the time to schedule upcoming appointments so no one misses out on their 'detailing' before my break. It's just over 3 months away. 10.01.2022 Back to work after some time off, and I've had to make a few changes. ***At the moment I'm only able to offer Tuesdays as a mobile grooming day. First available Tuesday appointment is 5th December. (Because of my limited mobile appointments I can offer grooming from my home in Watsonia other days by appointment only. Which will be for anyone happy to come to me rather then me come to you if Tuesdays don't suit or the wait for a mobile spot is too long. This will still be one... on one appointments with only one (or two dogs...from the same family) groomed at one time.) ***Due to my limited availability at the moment I'm unable to take on new clients. This may change in the future when I have more appointments available but for now it is so I can be fair to all of my existing clients. ***Also my servicing area will be restricted to Watsonia and surrounds (Greensborough, Macleod, Yallambie, Viewbank, Bundoora, Briar Hill etc) Previously I was able to service further but due to travel time I have to limit my area. 05.01.2022 *SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT* Business will be as usual at Doms Doggy Detailing. Being a mobile business it makes it quite easy for me to keep up hygiene and cleanliness, as well as keeping distance from clients. As usual all my equipment and work space (benches/bath) will continue to be disinfected between dogs. I regularly use hand wash and sanitiser myself between handling dogs. On top of this I will be using Glen20 to spray dog lead handles before returning dogs and offering cl...ients use of hand sanitiser at the beginning and end of each visit (after handing over dogs and payment). Of course anyone who wishes to cancel their appointments is 100% understandable. For now I'll continue to book appointments and work as usual. 02.01.2022 Just letting everyone know that I've recently had surgery which unfortunately has left me unable to work/drive for a few weeks. Thank you to everyone understanding that I had to cancel your appointments so quickly and out of the blue. I'll be up and running shortly but in the meantime if you need some contacts of other groomers in the area let me know and I'll pass them on. 01.01.2022 ***LATEST UPDATE*** The most recent announcement from Dan Andrews brings some good news for pet owners! As stated in the video below dog grooming salons will be able to open from the 28th September (given that case criteria is met). Unfortunately this doesn’t include mobile businesses so I will be remaining closed possibly till the next stage, which will be October 26th. I’m sorry my last post I was hopeful to be starting back end of September but this isn’t the case now. I ...urge all of my clients that are needing grooming to book in with your nearest salon. Because these times are so unpredictable it’s hard to know what may happen or change day to day. Of course I hope to see you all someday soon.
