25.01.2022 Happy birthday to Sue Harbottle who celebrated her big 7-0 with some Dolphins after training today

25.01.2022 Congratulations to Dorothy Dickey: we were very proud to present her with multiple world, national and state record certificates this morning at a socially distanced informal ceremony outside Aquarena. The world records were awarded for distances from 100m up to 1500m freestyle, earned at the IGLA Championships held in Melbourne earlier this year before Lockdown #1. Also a national backstroke record. #superstar #doncasterdolphins #worldrecordholder

24.01.2022 Vixens, Tigers, Storm, zero COVID-19 cases today - hat trick!!!

24.01.2022 Hi Dolphins, we have been advised today that we can now have a BBQ on the hill after training (10am) on Saturday 19th December as the restrictions have now been lifted further. Hope you can join us- see email for details. It will be great to have the opportunity to say hello and wish everyone happy Xmas after this challenging year (we will need to distance a little more than in this photo from 2019!!)

21.01.2022 Dolphins last session for 2020 - we are all looking forward to 2021! Caroline presented our former Head Coach Rod with his gifts as a thank you. Rod also recently received DOM for his long term contribution and commitment to the Club. Tony also received a recent DOM for the redevelopment of the website. They were both finally presented with their swim caps by Margie. Caroline was given flowers - it is her birthday today and she has done an enormous amount of work for the Club in recent times, including organising today's breakup, along with her many helpers. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone - the final Dolphins session is on Monday 21st with a 2 week break. Training recommences on Monday, 4th January.

17.01.2022 UPDATED 31 OCT: Dolphins please be aware that Aquarena will have this QR code scanning system in place from Saturday 31 October. If you have a smartphone please make sure you bring it and either have a FREE QR scanner installed or if you have reasonably up to date software on your phone you should be able to scan with your phone camera; don't worry if you don't as the staff will be able to assist you with getting registered. Either way make sure you allow a bit of extra time prior to your swim whilst everyone gets used to it.

17.01.2022 Dear masters swimming community, The National Board of Management (NBM) of Masters Swimming Australia (MSA) in conjunction with the organising committee of the ...2021 Masters National Swimming Championships regrettably advise that the 2021 National Championships scheduled to take place in Darwin between April 30 May 4 will be cancelled. As a direct result of the COVID-19 restrictions, State border closures and heavily restricted travel, and uncertainty of when and where outbreaks may occur, it was considered necessary to cancel next year’s event. We would like to thank our members across Australia who have been training with the 2021 Nationals in sight. Keep swimming! MSA and the National Swim Meet Committee will work together with the Branches to develop a special month of swimming next year to further connect our membership while raising awareness and funds towards mental health. We would like to acknowledge the support of our event sponsors and partners and thank the organising committee of the 2021 Nationals, for their hard work and dedication. While the National Championships for 2020 and 2021 are not to be, we will look forward to the 2022 Nationals in Sydney, and 2023 in Tasmania! The Branches and clubs of MSA are working hard to create fantastic swimming events for members, so continue to enjoy your swimming closer to home with your club and club members. To all our swimming community, stay safe and maintain your social distance and most importantly have fun.
