The Old Police Station Museum is open Monday to Saturday 10am to 12pm and Sunday from 2pm to 4pm and Russ Cottage is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 12pm and by appointment. These beautiful historic buildings are a must see in Dongara when you are holidaying or even just passing through.

05.01.2022 Thanks to everyone that came to Dongara Port Denison over the school holidays! Our small town was crazy busy with all our caravan parks at capacity. But now the local caravan parks are no longer at capacity due to the school holidays ending, the overflow camping on the town oval is now closed. The Shire will continue to communicate with local operators and reopen the overflow camping when the need arises. ... Please contact the Shire on 9927 0000 for further information.
