21.01.2022 Hi all, as much as it was anticipated there would be an extension of stage 4 restrictions announced today, I was hoping that allied health services, including remedial massage, would be able to resume from 14th October, so we can all go back to doing what we trained for - helping people with their health and well-being. Instead, for most of you, I can’t treat you until 28th September, all being well. Whilst I understand why stage 4 is being extended, as the case numbers are t...oo high to open everything back up and risk a third wave, I was hoping that the business of health would be an exception... For many of you, I know 8 weeks without treatment is very difficult. I CAN see you IF you can obtain a GP referral to continue care during Stage 4. Sorry for the rant...hopefully see your faces after 28th and start getting your bodies back on track. I’m always, as you know, up for a chat if you want to call! Take care, Donna 0407310240

21.01.2022 Hi all, a belated update but hopefully I will be able to treat (without care plans) from 19th October (TBC). Rest assured all COVIDsafe practises will remain in place at the Horizon Chiropractic clinic.

17.01.2022 What stage 4 restrictions mean for me in a nutshell... unless your client has a medically endorsed care plan, and if their presentation/condition is considered critical, i.e. to maintain functional independence and stay out of hospital, then you are not permitted to treat them face to face at this time. (In addition, whilst GP referrals are no longer required for Allied health practitioners to continue treating in Stage 4, a GP/specialist would have to write a care plan for... you anyway in order for me to continue seeing you) For many of you, this means I will have to cease your regular appointments but rest assured that if your condition deteriorates I will still be able to treat you with a care plan.
