14.01.2022 A beautiful home anyone? Here’s the thing, you can have it You have two options:... You can either, dive on in, impulse buy, tackle it room by room, get what you can afford now, compromise and produce a quick fix that might deliver now, but that you probably aren’t going to love forever. OR you can plan for it, work hard for it, save for it, invest in it - wisely - don’t go cheap for cheap’s sake, or because you just wanna get it done, NOW. You can invest once, in the right materials, pieces, professionals, that are going to deliver the home of your dreams, even if that takes a little bit of time to realise. If doing it all / buying it all / having it all is not an option right now, don’t compromise on your budget or your wants or your dream - break it down instead, tackle it in bite sized pieces, from your overall plan, and commit to the investment - just over a longer time. 03.01.2022 Dear #projectsalthome, you’re an absolute fave and we’ll obsess over you forever Quick tip people - behind that fixed panel above the bench seat is a most unnatractive but necessary split cycle a/c unit. Obvs hell would freeze over before that was going to be seen in this lovelier and than lovely dining room, so we designed the joinery around this unit so we never have to speak of it until now (but it powers on in the meantime doing its job, in a concealed and much mor...e acceptable fashion). As long as you allow for the ventilation required for a split cycle unit (don’t box it in completely), covering it is always a good idea because let’s face it, we’re yet to see one that we want to pop on display #donnaguylerdesign See more

I am inspired, daily, by so many fierce, strong and fearless women - some that I am lucky enough to have in my life, some that I admire from afar. I look to these incredible women when my own fear and self doubt creep in, which I know we all feel from time to time. ...
