22.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Hope all is well. As the weather is starting to get a bit cooler, make sure your immune system is working at its peak to avoid any colds, flus, viruses. I can make up a specialised mix just for you to build that immune system so you won't be stopped from doing what you really love. I am currently at the coast this week and have a couple of times available on Friday 10th at 11 and 12. I will also be available for appointments on Saturday 11th from 9 until 12... pm. Call, text or message me if you would like to book in for a bowen or to pick up your bottle of herbs to help you feel on top of the world again. I am also developing a program for ladies wanting to fall pregnant. If you are interested call or text me for a time for you to come and have a chat about what the program involves and if it is the one for you and your partner. Also I am putting together a workshop on how to balance your chakras by using different herbs. Let me know if you are interested in attending. Guess which herb this is in the photo. Will let you know in my next post. Bye for now, stay healthy Donna

20.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Hope you are all well and getting back into the routine after a nice Easter and holiday break. The topic I wanted to talk about today is sleep. With busy lives I am finding more and more people are not getting good quality sleep. Waking a couple of times a night and finding it hard to get back to sleep, waking exhausted and sometimes not getting to bed early enough to get the recommended hours needed to perform to your optimum level. A couple of suggestions ...to help you attain more sleep are first of all not using electronic devices up to an hour or two before bed, try getting into a routine of winding down approximately an hour before bed and try and keep to this routine. If waking during the night and thoughts are going around in your head have a note book beside you so you can write down these thoughts and therefore get them out of your head. Don't worry you may be writing for a little while but eventually you will run out of thoughts - guaranteed! I have tablet and liquid herbal combinations I can also make up for you which are designed to take approximately half an hour before bed which will help your body relax and drift off to sleep. I hope some of these suggestions helps you get a good night's sleep tonight. Bye for now Donna

16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Hope all is well. Welcome to August and that bright sunshine. Really nice to see after those overcast days we have been having. It is even warming up too which is a bonus. Treating anything from a cold/flu/viruses to hot flushes, anxiety, depression, skin problems, arthritis, low energy levels and immune systems which need a bit of a boost. Let me know if you would like to try one specially blended for you. My ...Australian Bush Flower Essence creams and mists have also been popular for birthdays or just wanting that special someone to feel nice. Don't forget about my talks on Bowen Therapy that are coming up on the Sunshine Coast. These talks will be happening from mid-August through to the second week in September. They will be happening in various libraries on the Sunshine Coast. Here is a list of Libraries and times: Kawana Library Friday 19 August 10.00 - 11.30 am Coolum LIbrary Tuesday 23 August 10.00 - 11.30 am Maleny Library Thursday 25 August 1.00 - 2.30 pm Caloundra Library Thursday 8 September 10.00 - 11.30 am Maroochydore Library Friday 9 September 10.30 - 12.00 noon To book your place at any of these talks go to library.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au, choose the relevant library and then click on Events at Caloundra library (for example). 15.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Hope all is well. Well Winter has finally arrived - the cold temperatures, wind and rain. Time to start if you have not already to build your immune system. I can make up bottles of different herbs to help boost your immune system to keep you fit and healthy through the Winter season. Also if you are experiencing cold/flu/virus symptoms at the moment I can mix a bottle of herbs specifically for your symptoms.... Chicken broth is also a good way to build your immune system. The broth can be eaten after initially made or you can store it in ice cube trays and take out of freezer when you feel you need an immune boost. Combine 3 ice cubes of bone broth with a cup of hot water and sip throughout the day. Soups with lots of orange vegetables such as carrots, sweet potato, pumpkin combined with ginger and garlic is also a good way to build your immune system. These vegetables provide beta carotene which help alleviate flu symptoms. Resting when feeling tired is also good to help your body fight those viruses that are around. It is amazing how a few extra hours of sleep can make you feel. Maintain your fluid intake to 2 litres of water a day. Keep warm and healthy. Bye for now Donna

12.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Feeling a bit all over the place. Those 4 day working weeks can do that to a person. The herb I would like to talk about today is Ginger. Ginger as you know can be purchased fresh at the shops and used in cooking. The liquid herb Ginger I use in a number of my herbal mixes to help a wide variety of ailments. These include enhancing peripheral circulation (warming those cold hands and cold feet), calming the digestive system, reducing inflammation throughout t...he body, helping reduce nausea when experienced either with travel sickness or pregnancy. Ginger can also reduce abdominal bloating and colic symptoms. Acute bronchitis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, endometriosis and pain experienced with menstrual cycle can be eased by taking liquid ginger. It is advisable to take the liquid Ginger with water. Let me know if you would like to try some today by phoning 0427 062 993.

09.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Happy 2017. I know January is nearly over. The year seems to be going just as fast as last year. I wanted to let you know that I will be working a week in Kingaroy and then a week at the Sunshine Coast at Buderim this year. This week I am at Buderim. I am finding this allows clients at the Sunshine Coast to book in for their bowen or/and herbal appointments from Monday to Friday rather than just Monday or Tuesday.... Also my clients at Kingaroy can choose a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday instead of only a Thursday or Friday. That's all the news I have for now. You can contact me on 0427062993 for all appointments. Kind regards Donna

04.01.2022 Hi Everyone, It seems like a long time since I spoke to you on Facebook. Lots have happened. The talks at the libraries on the coast went extremely well and a few people have tried Bowen for themselves and have noticed some big changes. I enjoyed meeting the different people from the different areas and answering questions about Bowen Therapy. I ventured to Cairns and attended a Bowen Therapy conference in early September. Catching up with some friends I hadn't seen for a... while and making new friends as well as enjoying the scenery that Cairns has to offer. The lectures that were presented at the conference were outstanding - giving me lots to think about and to try out with my clients. The weather is starting to warm up so make sure you are keeping hydrated - drinking 2 litres of water a day. Hopefully everyone has survived the cold and flu season. If not let me know and I can mix up a cold and flu mix specifically designed to your symptoms. When I see people I am trying to book them in until Christmas time. Yes Christmas isn't that far away. So if you would like a bowen therapy treatment before the end of the year let me know. My last day for the year in Kingaroy will be Friday 16th December. I will be starting back in Kingaroy in 2017 on Monday 9th January. Bye for now Donna See more
