23.01.2022 This gorgeous joey we named "River" was rescued three weeks ago at Donnelly River Village after the mum sadly got very sick. The joey was thrown from the pouch and was so so cold and dehydrated. But look at what a little TLC can achieve!!!!

19.01.2022 School holidays and we are having a ball here at Donnelly. Monday night was our Murder Mystery Night and we had 60 people come to solve the murder. Congratulations to Miss Stake aka Sharon, our Guest Experience Manager on a fabulous nights and thank you for all your hard work to make the night such a hit. We hope those staying with us on Monday this week can join us for some more shenanigans.

18.01.2022 We received fabulous news from the Premier's office today. "Accommodation providers can take bookings from within their region provided they do not open their bar, restaurant or function facilities if they have them. Social distancing and good hygiene measures also need to apply." So, if you are a resident of the South West and you are keen to have a break, give us a call to make a booking. ... There are some restrictions in place: the playground and flying fox are closed; a booking system will exist for the pool table, TV room and table tennis to stay within the 10 people limits; the store has a 10 person maximum inside to abide by the 4 sqm limit and only takeaway is available; you will need to bring your own bedding and towels. Our staff are undertaking special training in sanitation and hygiene to ensure that we keep everyone safe. Hope to see you very soon. Like us, we know some guys who have really missed you :)

Shane has been caring for Donnelly orphans for a number of years now and we truly appreciate her amazing dedication to our babies. This little guy took me 8 days to catch and Shane took him on and nursed him back to health. Thank you Shane xxx We hope you had a lovely day.

11.01.2022 The Donnelly is finally flowing. It is very exciting for us as the river's health and volume directly affects our town water supply. Plus it is truly beautiful. Crystal clear and almost tea coloured (from all the tannins). As you can see from the swimming dam, we have a long way to go. Looking forward to more rain. I so do love winter here.

04.01.2022 Today, the 4th February 2020, marks the 10th anniversary since a community of owners became the modern custodians of this amazing village. One of the aims was to retain the simple pleasures and laid-back lifestyle. The locals seem to understand what that entails.

03.01.2022 These September holidays were a focus on fundraising for the Bridgetown Wildlife Rescue Inc group. These amazing people spend every spare moment caring for injured and orphaned wildlife at huge personal expense. In our hour of need, Shane Williams has come to the village to collect traumatised babies when mothers have died or disappeared or has taken delivered babes into her care. The money we have raised will help Shane with running costs associated with caring for dozens o...f Roos. We have raised $772.50 through our trivia nights, jaffa challenge and Donnelly quiz trail. The Donnelly Board and managers are matching this figure and so we are very excited to announce that we have raised $1545. Thank you so much to our fabulous guests who contributed to this very worthy cause. Thank you also to Andrew Sullivan for contributing the major prize for each trivia evening - a nights accommodation in his cottage.
