25.01.2022 Oh my word, this has NOT aged well. ......... It hasn't aged at all really. Filled with such golden advice* under "How to make him love you even more" (which is a 2 page spread no less):... - Chew gum with your mouth open. - Tell him about your fabulous ex whenever possible. -Tell him all about your ambitions and plans, but don't bother asking about his. Assume he doesn't have any. - On the way home, criticise everything about his parents and their house. There's also creepy sinister "romantic poetry" with such stellar titles as, "I saw you last night and you didn't even know I was there." 21.01.2022 Had a wonderful morning at the shop yesterday after the mail turned up - as it enabled me to finish a lovely task for a customer in Bunbury. We had the 4th volume of this set in the shop, and so in order to have a complete collection to take pride of place in her husband's office, I was tasked at finding the other 5 volumes to complete Winston S Churchill's history of the Second World War. They finally arrived, and with a bit of TLC to better protect the dust jackets and have them ready to read - I thought they scrubbed up quite nicely.
