01.01.2022 Donnybrook Cricket Club is joining forces with "Cricket Without Boundaries" and "Platform Estate" and it's all for a good cause! With assistance from our new sponsor Platform Estate in Donnybrook, DCC is digging deep to help Cricket Without Boundaries hosting a donation drive to provide pre-loved cricket equipment to disadvantaged communities, both in Australia and overseas. --- What is Cricket Without Boundaries? Based in Ballarat, Cricket Without Boundaries was first lau...nched by local cricketer Natarsha Williams to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from nearby areas. Aiming to get these children involved in the sport, the program has since been acknowledged by Cricket Australia, evolving to operate on a national and international scale with donations sent to Zimbabwe and India in recent years. --- How can you help? Whether cricket bats, balls, padding, and even shoes, if you have secondhand cricket gear lying around that is still of great quality, please consider donating these pre-loved items to our Cricket Without Boundaries donation drive. By doing so, you will be sharing the spirit of cricket with a child, who otherwise may never have had the opportunity to play as a result of circumstances that are no fault of their own. --- When?
