25.01.2022 Freudian etiological psychology focuses on the past which determines the persons current and future outcome Determinism. In contrast with Adlerian teleological psychology which focuses on the future goals and do not see the past as the persons predestined outcome. Interesting, our current mental health system is purely based on Freudian etiological psychology thats why the current mental health system is broken and sick!

19.01.2022 In the 1960 a psychologist by the name of Walter Mischel conducted a series of experiment called the Marshmallow test. This study was conducted at Stanford university to test the long-term effect of instant gratification on children. The longitudinal test results showed that children with strong self-discipline are more likely to have better lifestyle in the future. This study showed that self-discipline trumps willpower. So, when parents asked me What do I do if my chil...d asks for iPad/tablet or iPhone/Android? 04.01.2022 SURVEY MONKEY RESULTS: CAN HUGS LEAD TO SEXUAL ABUSE I recently conducted a short survey regarding "Hugs: can hugs lead to sexual abuse". The purpose of this short survey was to gage the peoples views on hugs without convoluting it with consent, culture, religion, tradition and other social constructionist ideologies. The result speaks for itself "Hugs" are important part of human connection/connectivity. Hugs per se does not lead to sexual abuse. In fact hugs are a form of ...warm welcoming exchange in many cultures such as European, African, South & Central American, South Pacific and Asian countries. Not so much in the Western Anglo-Saxon (English speaking countries) and the conservative countries. In Australia and other English speaking countries such as USA and UK there is a strong ideological repulsion to hugs due to the underlying ideological rhetoric "Inform and Consent". In many institutions in Australia there is a blanket rule about No hugging", because of the "Sexual harassment and bullying policy". Australia has become one of the beacon for alarmist, fear mongering and problematizing every social issues there is/are, which made Australia a nanny state that it is right now "You cannot do this and that..."
