From mindset coaching to reiki or simply time out with cuppa this is a special place. It was a delight to meet Kerri who has turned a long held vision into reality and in the process helping heaps of other small businesses.
23.01.2022 #16DaysInWA #StopTheViolence I am really proud to be a part of the McGowan Labor Government, who this year passed the Family Violence Reform Bill, the most comprehensive family violence law reform package ever seen in WA. These new laws put WA at the forefront of the fight against family and domestic violence.... Through these changes, we’re sending a very clear message - violence is never OK.

17.01.2022 Today’s Family and Domestic Violence Forum talked about our local response to dealing with violence in an intimate relationship and our state strategy for dealing with it. A big thank you to everyone who came along especially those with lived experience.
17.01.2022 It has been a tough year. So this is a direct credit to the electricity account for every household in WA. It’s part of getting our state and our families back on their feet.
15.01.2022 Privileged to join Mayor Gary Brennan and Chair of the Bunbury Garden Labyrinth Committee, Linda Blyth to open Bunbury’s Garden Labyrinth. Five years of hard work and fundraising by the committee has resulted in a very special place created at Queens Gardens. A very big thank you to all the sponsors who helped to create it. If you are looking for a quiet place to take some time out and maybe reflect then go down- it is special.
15.01.2022 Busy morning at our Carey Park mobile office. Michael popped in to talk about the importance of white ribbon day and how the park has improved following the McGowan governments funding of the new play area. You don’t need to wait for a mobile office though - you are always welcome to call by our office in Spencer St

08.01.2022 So looking forward to this. 2020 was a tough year for all of us including live music and the performing arts. This is a great opportunity to support local artists and musicians who have really done it tough. Let’s make Bunbury Fringe Festival 2021 the best ever by supporting them!
07.01.2022 Today was White Ribbon Day aimed at stopping family violence. There is no excuse for violence in intimate relationships. It was heartwarming to see so many people march and gather in solidarity. Wreaths were laid in memory of those women and children who have been murdered by a partner. Whether you are a victim of violence or someone who is violent it is important you seek help.
07.01.2022 Today is the second day of the WA Container Deposit Scheme and today Minister Steve Dawson and myself caught up with the team at Return It at Zacknic Place and put a few plastic bottles through the counting machine. The scheme is good for the environment with over 1 million items collected in the first two days, good for jobs with 680 people employed state wide and good for community groups who can benefit from the funds raised. A serious trifecta!
06.01.2022 Violence against women in all its forms is unacceptable. The annual 16 Days in WA Stop Violence Against Women campaign beings today, and I’m inviting you to join the 16 Days in WA movement and think about how you can educate, motivate and advocate in your community, and stand up to stop violence against women. Find out more at https://www.communities.wa.gov.au/projects/16-days-in-wa/

Pictured below is Vespa & James who are much loved members of our family. ... 03.01.2022 As Jetty Road redevelopment comes to a close, work begins on new walkways, landscaping and playgrounds between Jetty Baths and Casuarina Drive through to the Outer Harbour. Bunbury’s waterfront is developing into a very special place for locals to enjoy.
02.01.2022 Being your local member is not just about politics and Parliament. It’s also about spending time with kids reading them stories with Helen playing the harp. Paint the Town Read is organised by Investing in our Youth and its a great program to help kids discover the joy of reading. Thank you to pre primary and Grade 1 students at Djidi Djidi for listening to the story
01.01.2022 The reason our community and economy are doing well is because we do not have community transmission of the virus. Today three people from overseas were diagnosed with Covid. It highlights just how careful we have to be.
