25.01.2022 Our pre Christmas bookings are just about filled. We will be doing no pickups from street parking shops as it is too busy until after Christmas now. Many thanks from all the staff

24.01.2022 We have this wonderful thing with many of our customers. Today I was gifted this from one of our longtime valuable customers as a thank you. We never expect anything as this is our job but wow I do feel very special and I will enjoy this. Thank you Redel Whitehead and Kevin Whitehead this was so lovely

24.01.2022 Please be aware we will NOT be working next Friday being grand final public holiday and we are going to meet our NSW little family whom we haven’t seen since March. Nothing will stop this

18.01.2022 Please note we are now leaving Albury Wodonga by 11am. This has changed from 12. This is to reduce the hours in our day which have been 12 to 14 hours. Too big a days for our selves and our staff. It also include working within hours for fatigue management for our business management and insurance requirements. Thank you for your understanding on this matter

17.01.2022 Well where has that year gone. We would like to wish all our wonderful customers who have continued to support us the merriest of christmases and a 2021 to really look forward to. We are all looking forward to 2021 with a revamped team ready to help you with all your freight requirements. Our last day of pickups for the public will be Wednesday 23 December - please be mindful to book in early with pickups as it is extremely busy at this time of the year as you all know. We w...ill be returning to normal deliveries on Monday the 4th January 2021. We will be doing skeleton runs down in between these dates to empty out depots and to keep some of our local businesses running with as little interruption as possible. Thank you all so much for helping us get through the challenging year of 2020 but together we have just about got there. 14.01.2022 I had an interesting comment made to me today and those of you that own and run your own small business may appreciate my reaction. The person said to me I would love a taste of your cruisey life - you work with your husband and daughter and you buy what you want. I nearly had to get my jaw lifted from the ground surgically don’t get me wrong we love what we do but cruisey ?????? We start work at 5am and am often still doing bookwork at 8pm that night. Mick often has to work 6 days a week and our last holiday was 2 years ago - not my idea of cruisey

13.01.2022 This is home. Whenever I come over this hill into this valley I have a sense of peace and happiness. When tragedy or hardship affects one of our families there is always an overwhelming array of emotions stirred up in us - uselessness/sadness/ protectiveness/ love. Never take for granted what we have. Remember there is always someone out there who can help you even if it is just a listener or a presence. Upper Murray be there for each other

09.01.2022 Due to the ongoing Covid situation we will be returning to stricter delivery conditions. We will NOT be entering people’s homes to do pickups or deliveries for the current time. There is no exceptions to the rule if you need something taken inside you will need to make sure you have family members or close friends that can assist you we are not permitted to enter homes. Deliveries will be made to front verandah/entrances. If you are expecting a delivery please have gates open. We have family members whom we must protect as well as ourselves and you as customers

09.01.2022 We have 2 weeks left before Christmas for deliveries. Online shopping has struck with avengeance. Please be aware we will not be able to do long steel deliveries in this time - we lose too much room. Large furniture items will have to be staggered as we need to get these Santa presents home

05.01.2022 Our fifth gorgeous grand baby has arrived

03.01.2022 We are providing an opportunity for someone to join our team as a full time worker. Ideally we would like to employ someone who has a truck licence - HC and a car licence to work both in our truck and van. We leave Corryong at 515 so we require someone who doesn’t mind early mornings. We work Monday to Friday. It can require heavy manoeuvring so a good back is a must but assistance is available if needed. We are a hard working friendly and committed team so require someone with a similar nature. 02.01.2022 In 2021, which I am hesitant to say is only 3 and a bit months away, we will be looking to expand our team. Currently there are 4 of us working but we would like to add an extra person to join our team to give flexibility to all our team members. The team member we will be looking for will be to drive and operate one of our delivery vans. We are looking at a 2 day or 3 day a week position with extra days to cover annual leave, sick leave and just general family leave that all... members may require. We are flexible and understanding to the ideal team member. Our days are long - we leave Corryong a bit after 5 and don’t get back until about 130 or 200 with deliveries to be done in Corryong and surrounds. Days to be worked can be flexible or we can give regular days to fit in with other jobs or family requirements. We provide a supportive, honest, respectful and friendly workplace and we ask all these qualities of our team members. A full training programme is provided for as long as an individual requires, until they are comfortable with our routine and paperwork. You would a require an ideal driving record and a car licence. Our feelers are our to see if there is anyone out there who would fit in our team.
