24.01.2022 Don Tatnell has now been closed for a month and we’d like to provide our members and guests an update of what we’ve been doing behind the scenes to help our community during the transition: Works are continuing at Don Tatnell to make the building safe before further decisions can be made about the future of the site We have been running community information sessions to answer questions. If you were unable to make it along or still have more questions please visit or cal...l Waves Leisure Centre on 9559 7111 Refunds for memberships, visit passes and swimming lessons are being processed as quickly as we can. Apologies for any delays in this process and we thank you for your patience. Please allow up to 14 days for your refund to be fully processed please contact us if you are yet to receive your refund after this time A selection of group fitness classes have been transferred to Mordialloc Community Centre for a trial period until 27th March. We have made changes to our Autumn group fitness timetable at Waves to allow for more classes, more often and with larger capacity. We are working through our Learn to Swim timetable for Term 2 at Waves. Bookings will open when we announce the new timetable on Tuesday 10 March. 23.01.2022 Since the closure of Don Tatnell Leisure Centre, we have been running a selection of group fitness classes at Mordialloc Community-Centre. We are excited to announce that this will continue until at least Friday 27th March for 4 of our much loved classes. 23.01.2022 We were really sad to close Don Tatnell earlier this year but we’re excited to be planning a new aquatic and leisure centre for our community. 12.01.2022 Don Tatnell Closure Council will be holding two community information sessions to provide further information. Join us at the Mordialloc Community Centre anytime between: 6:00pm-8:00pm, Thursday 27 February 9.30am-12.30pm, Friday 28 February... You are invited to drop-in anytime to: hear from Council’s Building facilities team about the structural issues at the site talk to the Kingston Active team to discuss how the closure impacts you and how we may be able to assist your transition to Waves or finding alternative services hear about how Council is working with other user groups including Scope to find alternative venues. Unable to attend but want to register to stay informed.
