25.01.2022 We have done over 30 lifter failure repairs to SRTs apart from lifters getting stuck in the lifter bore this 2012 Jeep SRT 6.4 tops the cake. Number 5 cylinder had a lifter failure but also caused damaged to the exhaust side of the piston exposing the top piston ring. This one now needs a rebuild the 4 only to ever need a rebuild after a lifter failure. The car is dead stock no modifications what so ever. #dontexautomotive #jeepsrt8 #jeepsrt @ Dontex Performance

23.01.2022 Repost flashback to when we remote tuned our Kiwi friend Tonys 2018 Dodge Charger Daytona in New Zealand fitted with a MMX camshaft @dontex_automotive While Ive been on leave and had sometime to focus I was able to assist our New Zealand friend Tony with his 2019 Dodge Charger Daytona 6.4. He purchased some goodies from @modern_muscle_xtreme however local tuners in New Zealand were not able to get the tune right so as an Australian dealer for @modern_muscle_xtreme we were able to give the support to the customer and provided a remote tune for this baby using @hptuners software so it doesnt stall, sounds tough and more importantly make power! 22.01.2022 Due to the overwhelming demand we are now fully booked for 2020 for servicing, repairs and performance upgrades. We are now taking bookings for 2021 and March onwards for engine performance upgrades but still excepting emergency bookings. Due to family commitments Lee will be on leave for February so no dyno tuning bookings will taken for Feb so if your looking for a dyno tune some spots are still free in jan otherwise March onwards at this stage. We understand we cannot meet... everyone’s expectations but as always we do our very best to cater for everyone’s needs so please book ahead don’t leave things to the last minute or you will be disappointed. 19.01.2022 Something new for you RAM owners that don’t want to tune there engine for warranty issues dealers would not even know it had a cam in it but we would need to complete a 8spd auto tune at the very least for torque management. Well done to the team and our friends at Modern Muscle Xtreme who is always ahead of the game.

19.01.2022 Ive had enough of spending hours on my weekends doing quotations for performance shops in Sydney and QLD to get nothing back for it except for them to suck information from me for builds and get there own parts themselves.. until we have a sole distribution for parts I will no longer be quoting performance shops and will be qualifying anyone else who is looking to modify there car.. Ive simply had enough for people to suck valuable information from me when I have spent hours on end on R&D for mustang and LS performance shops to get information for free to try and build a Hemi and hit a market we are already successful in... if you cant do it yourself then dont touch it!!!! It really pisses me off!

19.01.2022 And this is why you NEVER just give anyone your SRT for a cam swap always give it to a specialist who do these repairs and upgrades day in day out like ourselves no matter where you live in Australia TRUST me when I say this its worth the trip... This car has done less than 300kms since a cam upgrade and now number 1 cylinder has a smashed piston and nowhere to be seen all you can see is the crankshaft and conrod through the cylinder head where the spark plug would sit also damage on number 3 cylinder also.. 19.01.2022 @crisis_chrysler just about ready to go back to Brisbane after we built a 405 stroker with E85. Unfortunately the stock auto with the 3200 hi stall doesn’t like the new combo so we had to finish up at 618rwhp / 461rwkws 8psi boost as the blower ran out of puff also. Seeing we have a 20% loss through the driveline with a hi stall I think it’s a pretty good result considering it’s only got a baby 2.3 bullet blower.. let’s see how long this stock auto lasts now #dontexautomotive #chryslersrt8 #crisischrysler

13.01.2022 Our 2018 Chrysler 300 SRT 411 stroker 2.9 whipple now fitted with a @foreinnovations triple pump L3 fuel system as we ran out of fuel pump during our run in tuning making 526whp at 3800rpm 9psi boost E85 with a 3800 limiter so we dont lean the engine out.. car should be back on the dyno next week to finish off our run in tune ready for the 8 rib set up to be fitted. #dontexautomotive #modernmusclextreme #foreinnovations #chryslersrt8 #chrysler300srt

12.01.2022 Carlos beautiful 2013 Chrysler 300 SRT 6.4 with only 8200kms on the clock was in for a custom dyno tune. This car was previously built and tuned by someone which the air fuel ratio was at 12.7 during the initial dyno and had to switch it off as it should be 11.5-11.8 afr. This car is fitted with a edlebrock 2.3 supercharger and stock engine with a full exhaust system making 417rwkws / 561rwhp at 5-6psi boost pump 98 it also made 675nm of torque 4th gear on a very soft and safe tune. This is a perfect example of a showcar and thanks to @nsrautomotiveinteriors for the awesome trimming work to compliment the car. #dontexautomotive #1mafia #cheysler300srt8
