We've all been staying home to stay safe, and some parents are worried about their children potentially catching the virus. But from the get-go, our dedicated local GPs and medical clinics have had COVIDSafe plans in place keeping patients, families and staff safe. And now, they're delivering new, innovative ways to help Victorians get immunised including drive-through clinics. The last thing we want to see off the back of this pandemic are outbreaks of vaccine preventable diseases like whooping cough, measles and chickenpox. If our community as a whole doesn't stay up-to-date with vaccinations, we risk our herd immunity. And the Victorians who rely most on this newborn babies, people with severe allergies, and those with weakened immune systems will be seriously at risk. Keeping immunisations up-to-date will protect our children now. And protect our community for the future.
