22.01.2022 What do you think, after reading the article? "Although many parents have a nagging sense that they should do more to limit screen-time, they often question whe...ther theres enough evidence to justify yanking coveted devices, rationalize that its part of our kids culture, or worry that otherssuch as a spousewill undermine their efforts. Digest the information below, even though it might feel uncomfortable, and arm yourself with the truth about the potential damage screen time is capable of impartingparticularly in a young, still-developing brain."

22.01.2022 What a wonderful time we had at the Rotary Club of Warrandyte/Donvale last night! It was a privilege to tell you more about the Montessori philosophy and our Centre in particular, and we are very thankful for the warm welcome and lovely meal we enjoyed with the members. We hope to see you all soon, maybe next time at the Montessori Early Education Centre?? We would love to re-pay the hospitality.

20.01.2022 When children work with their hands, they gain concrete understanding of the materials. When we can show children and let them touch and explore, they will make many more neural connections. Later, more abstract learning will naturally evolve from the concrete experiences they have had. #montessori #donvalemeec

11.01.2022 We would like to thank all the parents and kids who helped us with our Sausage Sizzle on Saturday. It was a great learning experience for the kids and an opportunity for parents to get to know each other better. We raised some much needed funds for the school so we would like to thank the Donvale/Mitcham communities for supporting us on the day. A special word of thanks to Di Censo Butchers who sponsored all the sausages for the day. Alf and Rose, without you this day and its success would not have been possible. Thank you for always supporting our Centre and for your generosity. For those of you who do not know Di Censo Butchers, they are located at Tunstall Square and offer a wide range of responsibly sourced meat and poultry, together with a large pantry selection. We hope you will support them like they support us.
