21.01.2022 COVID de-stress tip - 5 minutes Our minds are very powerful and remembering can generate positive feelings. Find somewhere quiet. Close your eyes and imagine yourself in your favourite place. Imagine yourself looking around and noticing the surroundings. What can you see? smell? feel? taste? hear? touch? Let yourself sit in these nice feelings for a few minutes and feel your mood lift. If you have kids, try this as a family, remembering a holiday or outing everyone enjoyed. When you finish imagining, talk about how great that event was!

Make yourself a hot drink and sit at the window (or rug up and go outside, under cover or find a patch of sun). Hold the cup in your hands and enjoy the warmth.
