19.01.2022 To All of our Business Partners and Customers, As a nation and a community we are all facing a previously unprecedented situation. The global COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all our business partners, customers and staff and in fact to our actual way of life. During this time, I wanted to make contact, and provide information to you on how we’re approaching the situation at Doogood. First and foremost, our thoughts go out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus, either dire...ctly or indirectly, especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. Secondly, at Doogood as at your business, we’re focused on the health and safety of our employees, families and the business community. Any of our employees who can do so have been directed to work from home. Unfortunately, this option is not easily implemented in our production and warehouse supply operations. At present we can continue to deliver the high levels of performance, availability, and service. We are also asking our sales and delivery teams to work with you through digital channels as far as is possible. As a consequence of the current expert medical and government advice regarding ‘social distancing’ we will not be attending at any locations without prior contact, subsequent approvals and detailed arrangement for the visits. With this theme in mind we would also ask that you too consider the necessity to personally visit our premises at Hallam or Doveton, if this however is unavoidable could you please make contact with us prior to attending so as we can arrange the visit in the safest and most convenient way possible so as to reduce unnecessary crowding or incidental personal contact with those persons not involved. While all our businesses are in uncharted territory, Doogood is resolved to effectively managing moments like this, and our commitment to your success is stronger than ever. Our company is founded on the core values of providing our customers with the highest quality service using products that equal or exceed Australian standards and our values are unwavering and continue to guide everything we do. We will continue to operate in as close to normal fashion as is possible under the present circumstances, maintaining both our usual quick time lines and quality assurance. To this end we have split our workforce into four teams operating across two geographic locations. This will give us a greater degree of flexibility to continue with our normal services should any of our individual employees fall sick. All day, every day. Late yesterday a valued customer asked for an urgent job, with all production runs already planned for the day it looked like the impossible. 06.01.2022 Never forget your roots! 13 years ago Doogood first established itself in the market as a small powder coating facility with only the one worker - our current managing Director (Nathan Jones). The third job we ever did was for a retired gentleman named Alberto, who was a motorbike restoration enthusiast. Back then we coated a set of springs for him. Late last week we had visit from Alberto once again as he walked into our new powder coating enterprise, slightly bigger th...an the original factory (350sqm to now over 11,000sqm). He said to us, you probably don’t do little jobs anymore. This could not be further from the truth. Doogood’s core value is SERVICE - big or small. A customer is a customer. And we aim to service them to the best of our ability. Long story short, Alberto is happy with his new basket.
