15.01.2022 To all our very valued customers....for those that don't know Don and Kaz have sold the Dookie Store and Post Office. We have spent a wonderful 8 and a bit years restoring.. regenerating...rebuilding...and renovating the store over those years. We have had our ups and downs...just like any body.....we have seen children grow up...we have built wonderful relationships..we have seen people pass on...new people to the area.. the kindness of a small but a positive building town......people who...with out knowing it...made the job easier.......it has been a wonderful part of our lives and we are very grateful the town accepted us and for supporting us through out the years. We will forever be grateful. Enough on us ....now to introduce you all to Russell and Mal. They have moved here from down Gippsland way to enjoy our beautiful town and wonderful people.we know you will all give them the lovely support and friendship that we have come to know. Some of you have met already ...but for those that haven't come on in and introduce yourselves ......as you can understand at this covid time when we all have face masks it may take them some time to remember you all. 12.01.2022 Hi everyone as of Monday 5th October our new hours will be Mon-Tues-Wed 8am-5.30pm Thurs-Fri 8am-7pm Sat 9am-2pm Sun 10am-2pm If anyone wants the Sunday Herald Sun we need to know how many ASAP so we can order them for Sunday 11th October and beyond. Also on Sat & Sun we will be cooking some food. If you want food cooked on these days it would be a great idea to ring your orders through to save disappointment.... Cheers everyone See more

05.01.2022 So....with new owners swapping over ......On MONDAY 31st august we will only be open from 8.30am to 10.30am then the store will be closed for the day due to stocktake Tuesday will be normal hours...8am to 4.30pm but post will be out if action till after lunch due to take over procedures.
