Beat being lazy, go for a walk, its the least you can do to thank your body for all that it does for you. The more flexible you become the more free you will feel in your body. Have a wonderful day

15.01.2022 ...Tonights dinner! Who wants to give this a try? My salads are full of exciting flavours, very enjoyable & filling. Here are the ingredients so that you can give it a go! Method: Basically, chop up all ingredients and chuck everything into a large bowl, Starting with all the wet stuff and combine through with a spoon. I use a potato masher to smash the avocado:)... Enjoy! Juliannes Creamy Vegan salad Serves 4 . . Ingredients: 2 Avos 2 Red onions 1 spring onion 2 -4 tbsp Bayleaf infused olive oil (or your oil of choice) 1 tbsp Cayenne infused olive oil 5 cloves crushed garlic 1 tbsp Curry Powder 1 tsp Cumin Seeds 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar 2 lemons squeezed 1/4 tsp salt 1 Can organic Kidney Beans 1 Red Capsicum Bunch of parsley Bunch of Sorelle Bunch baby kale leaves Bunch of rocket 1 Sprig of sweet basil leaves 1 Sprig of oregano . Note: Technically this is not a raw vegan recipe because of the kidney beans! If you want to follow strict raw vegan, then leave out the kidney beans. 13.01.2022 Looking back on my health journey so far! First, it was quitting refined sugar (in 2016) and then after playing with piglets at Steve Irwins zoo 2.5 years ago, I realised that they were exactly like dogs, and I was changed for ever. How could I eat pigs? I might as well butcher & eat my 2 dogs or my pet cat if I had one. Seriously, its the same thing. And its become too easy to turn a blind eye and just buy it in a package from the supermarket & not think about the proc...ess of it getting there. And then to discover that science has indeed unveiled and proved the truth that plants are better for our bodies than eating meat by a long shot (meat actually causes a multitude of disease) then it was really a no brainer for me. Ive been meat free for 2.5 years and counting, Ill never go back. And at 38 years old, Im the healthiest Ive ever been in my life!

11.01.2022 Sometimes I struggle with vulnerabilityat those times, I dont feel like being online at all. Truth be told, sometimes everything feels hard. Sometimes Im challenged by relationships, sometimes I cry, sometimes I feel un-motivated, sometimes when I AM motivated I struggle to decide how to best apply myself. Sometimes I just feel plain old lazyand then I beat myself up for the things I didnt do or should be doing! Sometimes I dont eat as well as I couldeven though I... know betteror get enough exercise, or go to sleep at a decent hour... the list goes on! But here I am, real, human, impossibly imperfect & keeping on striving. Striving for balance in all areas of life. Ive realised that the journeythe struggles & the challenges is what is worth sharing, because its realand no matter how little or great the challenge youre experiencing, youre not aloneeveryone experiences challenges. Its about pulling our socks up, getting back on the horsetime & time againbecause thats how we grow. Its how we learn. Its how we evolve.

10.01.2022 Nature time Enjoying the peace, and serenity of nature is essential for keeping your mind clear. Getting in touch with nature is like a detox for your mind and soul. It keeps your head clear. I always leave my phone at home, and like to enjoy my own company. I use my walks as a meditation, becoming intensely alert of my surrounds, the sights, the smells the sounds. Do you enjoy your own company too? Or are you afraid of it? And for how long can you be on your own, alo...ne with yourself, before you become uncomfortable with that aloneness? The thing is, when you go for a walk with a friend, you actually create even more noise to add to your already cluttered head. Conversation takes you away from nature & its harder to notice your intuition, that inner voice that has the solutions to all of your circumstantial problems, if youre still enough to listen! 09.01.2022 Is there a difference between eating Vegan vs Plant Based? Yes! One of them consciously cares for the animals and adopts a certain lifestyle choice & the other does not. ... Id say that "plant based" eaters are health seekers, looking improve their health and well-being. To clean and regenerate their bodies. Perhaps only temporarily as a detox, as a cleanse", or even as a long term "healthy eating plan. Generally, plant based eaters realise eating plants is better for their health, and that meat, dairy and any animal derived food is bad for their health. So theyre wise to avoid animal foods and consume mostly from the plant kingdom. If this is you, chances are you are not vegannot yet at least anyway! Vegans" share the health principals of consuming plants, additionallythey have consciously adopted a "cruelty-free" lifestyle. They are mindful of their daily choices choosing only animal free products. Vegans dont buy leather: iPhone Wallets, jewellery, furniture, hand bags, shoes, musical instruments like Djambes. They dont take advantage of animals in anyway such as visiting zoos or attending animal shows. Its an entire other level of spiritual consciousness that acts in service to all of life, living in harmony with the planet and respecting the animal kingdom. 05.01.2022 If you want to start healing your body Avoid nuts, seeds, starches, grains, cooked foods, dairy, animal products - this is a raw vegan diet. Proteins, fats and processed foods are not ideal foods for humans and their residue is what clogs up our bodies and is what we need to get (detox) out.

04.01.2022 Admittedly I posted something yesterday on my personal facebook account which I’m actually now embarrassed about and so I've removed it. I realised I was being reactive and overly eager to share information that I thought could be helpful to people without; first really having a very good look at what I was sharing, checking for credibility of the source of the info, checking to see that I was feeling centred and coming from my heart space before I shared. . . . I’m sorry ...about that. Shameful. It was carless of merookie mistake guys! I forgive myself although I took it a bit hard to be honest (and it gave me new found insight into how people feel when they are bullied on social media) because I know that I’m better than that. Even doubted my voice (my strength to speak up in the future on politically charged topics) for a few long moments because I’ve always felt most comfortably perched as a fence sitter for most of my lifeup until recent years! As I said, I have forgiven myself and have completely let it go . . . . To those of you who are friends and were respectful enough with your commenting, your words helped me to see the light ( thank you @barnoldt). And to those of you who; laughed, mocked, insulted, belittled, used sarcasm who are now unable to read this post it’s because you’ve been respectfully removed as a friend on my facebook. . . . On a lighter note: I REALLY miss playing wedding gigs!!! Hopefully my November Bride & Groom’s (Shout out to Wendy & Danny) wedding can go ahead and that we’ll all be well and truly out of lockdown by then. See more

01.01.2022 Beauty without attachment... I enjoy beauty and making things beautiful. From decorating my home, grooming the dogs, working on a piece of original music and sewing my garden. ... Ive also enjoyed putting makeup on, styling my hair, decorating myself with clothes and jewellery all quite common things for many women. But those things are less important to me these days. The more I grow spiritually, the more Im able to let go of all of that. Im not attached to those things or needing to look a certain way. In fact it looks more unusual these days seeing myself WITH makeup on than not, and it used to be the other way around for many yearsIm sure allot of women can relate. Its nice to be free from this kind of pressure, free from self-limiting ideas of what we believe beauty to be. Its just a concept and its unhealthy to be attached in this way. I see myself as a canvasif I feel inspired, I may paint itIf not, I can take it or leave it. Its fine to dabble in it all and enjoy it for what it is: art. Art sure is fun after all, but be mindful of getting so lost in the illusion of your art that youve mistakenly set yourself a trap that you cant get out of. Youve become attached. Self love goes along way for enjoying beauty without attachment. See more
