The theme is Kill the Celebrity elevating Black civil rights leaders as opposed to just elevating the Black celebrities who are accepted by capitalism. 21.01.2022 ANNOUNCING!! Be on the lookout for Emotion Revolution, a virtual gallery show we are supporting, set to open Sept 14. Curated by Mary Morris Evans, Emotion Revolution features work by 22 local artists all under the age of 30. Evans conceived the idea for the show in 2019, and we were so excited to show it in our gallery space. Obviously, things have changed but the themes the artists address are more relevant than ever. The intersection of racial injustice, the COVID-19 pande...mic and climate change has left many of us feeling uneasy about the future (or if it will even exist).
