25.01.2022 New project in Denmark. This one was a challenging one, great ocean views the south, North to the rear of the property. Try to get winter Northerly sun into as many areas as possible and still maintain views of the Great Southern ocean.... after painstakingly assessing solar angles seems this is the winner

25.01.2022 Fortunately during these wierd times work still goes on and people are looking beyond this period and continuing their builds and designs all of course with safety in mind. Working remotely is nothing new for me as I have been doing it for years from different cities and different countries. This project has highlighted how well working remotely can be within a team of professionals and client. Daily emails, phone calls and of course sharing screens through Zoom, all makes for a great collaboration of efforts. 25.01.2022 Completed project in Wembley Downs. From concept to completion, its rewarding to see all the stages turn into reality, things change along the way, and sometimes get amended for a better result. Thanks to @kitchen_haus and @formviewbuilding for making this project look so good and a great result for the clients as both homes sold very quickly one of the plan and the other a few weeks after completion

23.01.2022 I am very proud to present this beautiful Mt Hawthorn renovation that was completed recently and sold for a record amount in the area for a 4x2 home. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with the owners throughout the process from design through to the sale of the home..and finally the celebration for everyone involved

21.01.2022 I am extremely proud of this completed renovation project on Dunedin street Mt Hawthorn. It’s finally ready for market, and from the feedback so far, it won’t last long. @adamdproperty_realmark Thanks to @crib_creative creative for a great job with the photos , and Ashleigh Gorringe from @kitchen_haus with spectacular kitchen fit out. It has been a while in the making from concept designs to completion with modern open spaces meeting old worldly traditional spaces and the outcome is spectacular to say the least....

20.01.2022 From concept to completion.... as you can see concepts do become reality. This beautifully appointed home started its journey in 2017, when I first met the client. The client had a detailed brief detailing certain key items and must have requirements , after a few meetings and concepts the client signed off on the final concept and as they say the rest is history. Apart from some small aesthetic amendments during construction the home remained true to its original concept, which after visiting it left me with a sense of satisfaction seeing a lovely client that was so happy with the design. 20.01.2022 Perfection is complete, with time there is always room for improvement.... for example this project currently under construction in MT Claremont, getting a few little tweaks externally just to give it that little extra my role doesnt finish after the drawings are handed over its a labour of love to see the job through to completion.

19.01.2022 Latest Modern mid century concept for a new project in Gooseberry Hill . Fortunately a mostly flat site , even though it is in the hills, a few little design constraints in regards to the access to the site but seem to have managed to sort them out. Views out to the city from as many vantage points as possible throughout the design, in fact I would say every room has a view of the city , and also has northerly light streaming into the living kitchen areas ...

19.01.2022 Concept now ready for DA. This project is a take on a homestead style with a bit of a modern twist incorporating polished concrete floors with the warmth of recycled facebrick feature walls, kliplok roof cover, going away from the traditional colorbond roof and in addition the inclusion of an atrium near the entry to allow for some extra northern light into the Master Suite. Nestled on a beautiful rural setting in Karragullen in the Perth Eastern Hills.

19.01.2022 DA approved today! What a great feeling to get this project over the line... a few very small adjustments but the integrity of the design is still intact, which is the best possible outcome.... cant wait for this project to get started...

19.01.2022 Love seeing one of my projects develop from inception to completion and all the stages in between. Its a great honour and privilege that a client has the faith and trust in your ability to allow you to do your thing. Like I have always said, your only as good as your clients allows you to be.

18.01.2022 After the successful renovation and market interest from the Dunedin Street Mt Hawthorn project a client has now approached me with this particular project around the corner in Mt Hawthorn... this 1920s federation style home to be totally renovated and bought back to life with a little DMD flare. Looking forward to getting this project underway... Goes to show good work is good advertising.

17.01.2022 Established in 1995, now celebrating 25 years in the Building design / construction industry and still doing business. It has definitely had its ups and downs but honestly would not trade it for any other profession, it has been an enjoyable time and have met so many good people and made so many good friends and long lasting relationships. Looking forward to the next 25 years, and sure there will be another Morelli to take over after me:)

Modern, elegant, simple lines, looking forward to the rest of the cladding to be installed, including the vertical element that needs to be clad and thickened to match the horizontal section,it will make a huge difference and give the proportions that I spent so long trying to achieve.

15.01.2022 Marine Terrace project is now under construction, pool is in and the rest is starting in early January. Looking at the site its hard to believe such a practical and well appointed design was created for such a small corner lot (300m2 ) Goes to show that big isnt always best, but good practical and innovative design can make the difference.

13.01.2022 A good practical bespoke design shouldnt cost an arm and a leg, this is a concept for a dear freind that asked if I could come up with a design for a small lot and a certain budget... based on the brief this is the result..:))

12.01.2022 Site visit today , yes its a Sunday... but if you love what you do its always a pleasure , especially with great clients like @timkinnear and @kate_kinnear . Calculation of the perfect length of this cantilevered eave, gives perfect protection of the penetration of the sun into the family areas yet in winter due to the lower winter sun will allow the sun to penetrate the home to warm the interior.... make sure when designing your new home that these simple things are taken into account as they are often not considered.... Lastly but not least.... the kitchen has gone in and looks amaaaaaaazing... well done to Ashleigh @kitchen_haus , you guys have done an awesome job. This home will be ready to be on the market soon.....and will be a show stopper!!! @ Mount Hawthorn, Perth

12.01.2022 The result of Builder, Engineer and Designer all being on the same page in the initial design stage. This 250 RHS steel stair case will eventually be hidden within the garage 140mm wall, creating a floating look. Whilst also being a major aesthetic feature, its also providing a huge amount of lateral bracing to our steel portal frame. The nature of homes these days being open plan creates some headaches for builders but having all key stakeholders on the same page EARLY ...in the design phase helps achieve these beautiful spaces. 11.01.2022 Received the DA approval for this latest exciting project down south in gorgeous Denmark. This project has been a pleasure to be involved in with great clients who like to think out of the box and have been a real pleasure to deal with.. The main obstacle on this project was to obtain the gorgeous southern ocean views but while still trying to get in as much northerly light into as many areas as possible... with a little time, patience and design this has been achieved. Looking forward to follow the progress of this exciting and innovative project.

10.01.2022 Lakeway Street Claremont project, starting to take shape. Major renovation to the 1930s section of the front part of the home, with a modern extension to the rear. Mixture of building materials, Masonry, Timber frame, hebel, steel , this project has it all. 08.01.2022 A sustainable home is all in the design... as you can see I utilised shadow calculations and cross ventilation diagrams to try and achieve the best results to obtain Northerly light in winter but blocking it out in the heat of the day ... and if you note on the second picture it worked just as calculated @ Mount Hawthorn

04.01.2022 One of my favourite projects, is this home on Marine Terrace Sorrento, so much home on a small 300m2 site. This home is well into construction and should be completed by the end of the year. Watch out for updates.

03.01.2022 One of the most important factors in the design process is to try and incorporate as many solar passive design principles as possible into as many rooms as possible.... in this case with a little thinking out of the square, this design will now have warm winter sun into nearly all area’s and keep out unwanted summer sun... with great cross ventilation. Win Win!

03.01.2022 This pretty much sums it up.... from my experience, potential clients are so happy to spend thousands upon thousands on furniture, home theatres, pools etc, which are all important aspects of a home, but are hesitant on spending on an investment where the money can make them a return. A well designed home can potentially save thousands on energy usage and increase the value of a home for resale, not to mention good practical design, its like getting a tailor made suit, sure you can buy one from your local chain store, it will fit, do the job, but a tailor made suit will have quality materials, last a lot longer, look better and of course feel better due to the custom fit. A bespoke home design has all those aspects and more. It may be an initial expense that you may think you can cut out, but it may be at your own financial loss.
