17.01.2022 Today, two of our newly ordained priests are flying back to Indonesia. They will spend a few months with their families and then will depart to their first mission assignment: John in Indonesia-Ende province and Yosef in Ghana/Liberia province. We wish them all the best in their future missions. Thanks to all those who have supported them so far during the last four years they spent in Australia.

15.01.2022 Happy birthday to Shehan and F Albano!!! We've had a wonderful celebration last night and a nice cake. We wish two of them all the best in life!!! F Albano is the dean of studies at Dorish Maru. He comes from India and this was the second time he celebrates his birthday among us. Shehan is our very first SVD student from Sri Lanka. He joined us in January this year and is now preparing himself to do his Noviciate.

13.01.2022 The Divine Word Missionaries are celebrating 100 years since arriving in Epping, Sydney, a significant development in the mission to Australia and Papua New Gui...nea, which was overseen by St Arnold Janssen himself. From its shaky start, the AUS Province now has a range of strong and vibrant ministries with multicultural parish communities, Indigenous communities, ethnic chaplaincy, prison ministry, hospital chaplaincy, formation for missionaries who have been sent out all around the world, and more. The Province has also grown to include New Zealand, Thailand and Myanmar.
