13.01.2022 Dormie House hosted a meeting today for Low Carbon Living Southern Highlands. A great initiative for this iconic destination with support from; World Heritage Institute, CRC, Wingecarribee Shire Council, BDCU, TAFE, and CANWin. MVGC Member John Hewson has kindly agreed to be Patron.

10.01.2022 Merry Christmas! A sumptuous Luncheon was served to a full Dining Room of guests today. Executive Chef Mark Kay delivered a four course banquet including house-made Venison & Turkey terrine, roast pork with crisp salted crackling and perfectly basted whole turkey. The popular Australian tradition of seafood was observed with fresh oysters, prawns and smoked salmon.

01.01.2022 Guests at Dormie House cycling to Sydney today! Henry Yates in the centre, is completing the final leg today of what has been an epic cycling effort from Fremantle WA to Sydney NSW commencing on 17 March. Well done Henry! He is re-joined on this leg by Jaye who was on a previous Adelaide leg, on the left, and Greg who is doing the Canberra to Sydney leg. When I asked Henry what charity he was raising funds for he said None, Im just doing it as a gap year activity. Fantastic!!! He was inspired by the Indian Pacific Wheel Race. Henrys mascot is the baby giraffe.
