14.01.2022 Not all restoration jobs are a walk in the park especially when someone else has swung spanners on it. My first boss taught me to always assume the last person that worked on a bike was a complete idiot, even if that idiot was you. Always sets you up for easier diagnosis of an issue. ... In this case it was running on 3 cylinders and spitting back through carby. A simple leak down test picked up leaking inlet valve so valve clearances were checked. Inlet valve had no clearance. Reset yet still leaking. It may still be an engine out job.

03.01.2022 A really nice run today on Harry the hurricane MC17. New tires, fork oil, head stem bearings along with rear shock adjustment all worked very well in the handling department. Oh, and the fun factor was off the charts. Not for sale. My baby.
