24.01.2022 Purple Jacaranda carpet after the rain. Yes we got some rain but nothing like the rest of the state, but enough to wash the dust off the leaves and freshen the garden.

24.01.2022 Look what wandered into the backyard at Dot's House. A creation by Rustic Reilly.

21.01.2022 Father Christmas has arriived in town, so decorations are up at Dots House.

21.01.2022 Spring has sprung and our Scarecrow has a new wardrobe (not sure if she will scare the birds). She is still wearing a scarf as the nights are cool even though the days are getting warmer.

19.01.2022 A guest of Dot's House spotted this baby crocodile near the BBQ on the weekend . Think it might be a bit hot today and tomorrow even for him. Lucky there is ducted air conditioning and thick stone walls to keep the heat out

17.01.2022 100 metres from Dot's House

16.01.2022 Snowing at Dot's House...... Or maybe Almond blossom

15.01.2022 Spring (although feels like summer) colours in the garden at Dots House

13.01.2022 The Citrus Fruit Bowl is happening in Dot's garden. New season Mandarins are now sweet enough to eat.

13.01.2022 "Dot's Apricot jam 2015" currently in production

04.01.2022 Just added to our "off street parking" is a roof to keep the rain off the car but still let the light into Dots House. Thanks to Peter Jury and his team from Jury Constructions.

04.01.2022 New season Navels are ready for the picking at Dot's. Nothing like fresh from the tree, peeling with the juice running over your fingers. Oranges bring back childhood memories of the energy food at quarter time in sport & the cool smiles you could make with the segments in your mouth.

03.01.2022 Bruce the Wyandotte Rooster - We no longer have Bruce as he used to wake up at 5.20am which was a little early for "relax, rest & revive". We tried everything to make him sleep longer but nothing worked, so he went back to his breeder (we still have his sisters). A friend has just bought a Wyandotte male & I wanted him to see how beautiful he will become.
