22.01.2022 Gee thanks Mr Andrews for rendering us all useless for 6 weeks

22.01.2022 Please consider signing this petition so many people are in a terrible position where they have sold but cant buy, need to be out of a rental and so on. Inspections can be done one on one which is a hell of a lot safer than going to the supermarket.

20.01.2022 Good news for new home builders, the scheme has been extended - see details below direct from treasury Extension to Victorian HomeBuilder construction commencement timeframe To provide certainty and confidence to Victorian HomeBuilder participants, the construction commencement timeframe will be extended to six months given the unique COVID-19 restrictions throughout the state. To be eligible for HomeBuilder, construction must commence within three months of an eligible build...ing contract being signed. An important measure included in HomeBuilders design allows states and territories to extend this timeframe, by up to three months, where commencement is delayed due to unforeseen factors outside the control of the parties of the contract. Given the unique lockdown affecting Melbourne, as well as restrictions throughout regional Victoria, the decision to extend the commencement timeframe made by the Victorian Commissioner of State Revenue provides certainty and confidence to applicants and builders alike. For further information see the HomeBuilder Grant Guidelines available on the State Revenue Office Victoria website. See more

01.01.2022 Not all doom and gloom for property - what can you do during Stage 4 restrictions *Prepare your property for sale and get your section 32 done to be ahead of th...e spring market *Buy land *Buy an investment property to tear down and subdivide *If your game buy a property sight unseen *Have a bank valuation done *Sort your finance so you are ready to purchase *Have your building and pest inspection done *Final inspections allowed *Moving is allowed So whereas, our activities maybe curtailed they are not stopped. Make the most of this time, be proactive and ready to hit the market running at the end of stage 4 - but most of all keep safe.
