15.01.2022 What I’ve been telling myself over the last two weeks when I haven’t posted anything on my business social media accounts. Why? Because sometimes I just get over being on my phone. ... I do get a lot of messages from lovely patients, about periods, sex, bleeding, cycles, fluids, pains, emotions etc, etc. (all the good stuff). And I LOVE those messages and they are my first priority when it comes to being on my phone for work. Mostly I just want to go to clinic and physically treat people, and not have to think about drumming up more business, or posting things, or staying within AHPRA guidelines, or advertising, or hustling or being an amazing, hugely successful, money making, ultimate boss babe entrepreneur!! Because I’m not. I’m a healer. And I’m still a bit of a hippy even after all these years. A glitter hippy though. A glippy. (It’s a thing.) And technology sometimes just wears me out. I can sometimes find it draining to my spiritual energy. And when something affects my spirit and my energy, my essence, my qi, it will also eventually impact my work. So I normally clock out and take a rest from anything in life when I feel my qi is being knocked around. It might be self care or it might just be being lazy. But then, being lazy can also sometimes be self care can’t it. (Rhetorical question because I already tell a lot of you it can be.) Either way, please bear with me while I find my social media balance. 14.01.2022 My beautiful friend Kim has shared her fertility story and I hope some of you will take some lovely inspiration from her journey. Kim is one of my Chinese Medicine besties. We went to university together and also lived together during our internship in the hospital in China. I am so blessed that myself and Kim and our whole little University group are still so incredibly tight knit and I am beyond excited and proud of Kim for pursuing her dream to become a mother. ... All love and power to all women going through their own fertility process and to those who are choosing to do this journey alone, I know it is not always an easy decision, but it is a brave and beautiful one and I am constantly in awe of Kim and all the incredible women who step through my door. If you are interested in Kim’s online fertility course that I’ve mentioned to some of you, please message her page Sydney Natural Fertility and I know that she will give you any information you need. She is amazing at breaking down Western medicine fertility information and is a wealth of knowledge on choosing supplements and improving egg quality and making switches in everyday life to improve your fertility overall.
14.01.2022 Beautiful art @realfunwow Winter Solstice. ... The longest night. The shortest day. A time when the earths yin reaches its utmost zenith. When it becomes so yin, that it makes movement back to yang. The ever moving, ever changing cycle of two complementary but opposing forces that continuously give rise and pause to one another. In Taoist Alchemy this moment of transition from yin to yang holds within it a perfect symmetry, a harmony and balance that gives birth to new creation. A time to focus on bringing together the light and the dark within yourself. A time of regeneration and rebirth. Of realising that every night and every day the seed of change is always within you. #wintersolstice #yinyang #changeistheonlyconstant See more

11.01.2022 Fire cupping. ______________ One of my absolute favourite treatments to give and receive. ... I’m always so jealous of patients when I’m giving them fire cupping, because it’s next to impossible to fire cup my own back. ________________ Cupping is fantastic for stiffness, aches, pains, tight muscles, limited range of motion. We also use cupping for colds, coughs, flu’s, viruses and to draw pathogenic qi (wind, cold, dampness, heat.) out from the body’s channels to the surface. We can even use cupping for cellulite and small suction cups to contour and sculpt the face. Is there anything cupping can’t do?! #cupping #firecupping #traditionalcupping #cuppingconverts #happyhappy #healthyhealthy #doublehappyhealthy See more
11.01.2022 Wonton Wednesday! I’m not sure if that’s a thing. But, it definitely should be. Goji Berry, Shiitake & Water Chestnut. Pork, Ginger & Bamboo. ... Making wontons or dumplings for me is like a meditation. I love the chopping, the slicing, the dicing, the folding and the twisting. And of course the eating. So much love and Qi in food like this. One of the reasons I adore Chinese Medicine so much is because it is always about more than just the physical, or surface value of things. It’s always about the whole process. The intent. The Qi. The energy. Food may be the healthiest of healthy food, bursting full of nutrients and vitamins. But in Chinese Medicine it’s also about how it was grown, where did it come from and how was it prepared. The energy or qi used in preparing the food imparts qi into the end result. It becomes not just food, but food that feeds your soul. And, no we often don’t have time for all of that effort in today’s world, but when we do the results are so, so worth it. #soulfood #wontonwednesday In #foodmeditationpreparation #happyhappy #healthyhealthy #doublehappyhealthy See more
