25.01.2022 A highlight of 2018, producing a video installation with Room11 Architects for the La Biennale di Venezia Architectura. I didn’t get to see it in it’s full glory, but cousin Angelo did and gave me a little memorabilia !

19.01.2022 In November 2019 TasPorts, in partnership with BridgePro Engineering Pty Ltd, successfully completed the complex controlled collapse of the Port of Burnie’s iconic P6 crane. Today, the companies were announced as a Tasmanian Winner of the Australian Engineering Excellence Awards 2020 for the project! Unique and innovative engineering methodologies combatted seasonal winds and dynamic operational demands within the port to safely and successfully remove the crane. The remova...l of the 90 metre high crane paves the way for future growth plans at the Port of Burnie, as a critical gateway for local industries, commodity exporters and the wider community. Congratulations to all the Tasmanian finalists and AEEA winners around Australia! Check out this video of TasPorts Project Manager Jacob Rootes and TasPorts Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor (Projects) Andy Larsen showcasing the impressive project. #TasPorts #AEEA2020 Engineers Australia and of course...Doublesee Media were there to get the visions and the story...

16.01.2022 We worked with Room11 Architects ( Thankyou Megan and Thomas) to produce a large scale short film for their Installation at the 16th La Biennale di Venezia Architectura, just open and running unitl 25 Novemeber 2018.. It was a incredible process to think about space in a new way, not confined to story, with a freedom to play and a view to output somehwhere very special, the Main Exhibition, in the Central Pavillion at the Biennale. Finished at 13 x 1.2 meters. "Tasmanian pr...actice Room 11 Architects has taken a minimalist approach to its exhibit, which aims to transport the visitor to the Apple Isle. In a dark room littered with low-lying comfortable chairs, three screens display images of both the Tasmanian landscape and the practice’s work." 10.01.2022 I think we met the brief... :) Doublesee Media worked with Hobart's Room11 Architects to deliver a 13 meter long video installation for the 16th La Biennale di Venezia Architecttura. 'If the Venice Architecture Biennale is anything to go by (and it is, arguably, the field’s biggest worldwide celebration), then for architecture, the days of loud manifestos and grand gestures may be behind us. Building up on a series of biennales that took a more humanistic approach, this year..., Venice was all about subtle drama, human connections, textures, history, and free, open spaces for improvisation all orchestrated around the curators’ chosen theme, Freespace.' 02.01.2022 Tasmania in the 1950's and 60's punched well above its weight in motor racing. Hosting the Australian Grand Prix in a small town called Longford, holding Australian records for average fastest lap speeds, land speed records on beaches and endless other notorious adventures and stories which hold no place in history. Graeme George has kept hours of 8mm film and hundreds of color slides that he captured of this time and although he doesn't think so, they are pretty good!
