25.01.2022 On behalf of the entire team at Doubleshot we would like to sincerely thank everyone for the ongoing support throughout the COVID pandemic. With this we are ecstatic to announce we will be opening our doors once again to our beloved guests with a few new adjustments * Doubleshot Deakin will be taking walk ins only and those who wish to dine in will be required to it (please note we will not be taking bookings nor any phone orders at this time) we have a maximum seating of 40p...ax (20 per room) * All dine in orders will be placed at the till and our wonderful staff will deliver your orders to your table * Our takeaway orders will continue to be served from the window We understand these changes may not be our norm, however we want to assure our guests we are easing into the new systems slowly and ensuring we do our part as things ease up in the coming weeks. This next step is important for us to get right and as things continue, we will strive to make sure we do things safely and correctly for our staff and our customers. We appreciate your patience and support; our staff will be around to help communicate these changes too.

10.01.2022 ATTENTION CANBERRA Thank you all for your ongoing support and love. Just a quick little post in terms of our bookings system and the way we are operating! For the time being we are still operating as a ‘walk in’ only venue, we are turning over tables quicker than normal and ensuring that we are seating and accommodating everyone as best as we can given the limited seating we have. We appreciate you Canberra but please be patient with us. We are doing our best to provide as much information and to be as clear as possible! We are hoping to get back to normal ASAP!

04.01.2022 AND WE ARE BACK what a great couple of days we’ve had, and we can’t thank you enough Canberra (once again). things have changed a little since we have re-opened our doors and it’s been an adapting process; we have decided to stay with the following: Serving food + drink will be in takeaway boxes and biodegradable cups We still strongly believe in helping the small/local businesses through this time. At Doubleshot we use fresh and local produce from Canberra regions,... making sure the produce used is of the highest quality. We like to think that just because it’s in a box it doesn’t change where its originated from or how it tastes. We will be doing counter service, which means ordering at the till for both takeaway and in house. Menus are provided via QR codes located around the shop. We also have big menu boards above the bar this eliminates touching of physical menus. We still won’t be doing bookings or phone orders at this point. Our turnover of tables is quick so don’t stress; we have also implemented ‘first in best dress policy’. These are some of the key areas we believe at Doubleshot will help everyone stay safe and keep us consistent. We do apologise for any inconvenience this causes. Our staff will always be around to help guide and communicate these things though.
