21.01.2022 With next Saturday being the first Saturday of the month AND Easter, our cake stall is going to be the following Saturday 11th April. This is our LAST cake stall before the RELAY FOR LIFE on 2nd May so let's try & make it a biggie! All donations of any baked goods very gratefully accepted.
21.01.2022 Today's cake stall at Government House was ......HOT! Thanks to donations from some fantastic, generous people we had lots of cakes etc with plenty left over for our next Bunnings cake stall. Our total raised so far is $514. A few more $ may come in with sales at the office tomorrow. Many thanks to Emily, Yvonne & Kym for staying today & Helen & Natalie for dropping cakes off at Govt House

15.01.2022 Our first BAKE SALE for the year is THIS SATURDAY! Please let me know if you can bake anything for our usual stall at Bunnings Prospect. Just a dozen cupcakes or a bar cake or two would be awesome! All donations very gratefully accepted.

If you would like to come & see what it's all about & show your support to Dough Raisers & Cancer Council come to Adelaide Showgrounds arena anytime from 2pm this Saturday (Opening Ceremony) till 9am Sunday (Closing Ceremony). 08.01.2022 Cancer Council SA's Relay For Life is over for another year. I haven't counted the money raised yesterday but will post as soon as I do. We were 5th highest fundraiser (out of 138 teams) & won the 'points' competition. Thanks VERY MUCH to DOUGH RAISERS!!

07.01.2022 Dough Raisers have been given the fantastic opportunity to raise some serious money by selling morning & afternoon tea at the Government House Open Day Sunday 22nd February. THEY ARE EXPECTING APPROX 5,000 PEOPLE so this is going to be HUGE!! We are going to need A LOT of cakes, muffins, tarts, ANYTHING we can sell to the masses. I also need help on the day. 9am- 4pm (or just a few hours). If you have family or friends that like to bake please ask if they can bake too so we ...have enough goods to cover the whole day. ** We have also been given permission to run our very popular PICK A STICK so please start collecting prizes for that also. 06.01.2022 We're running a BILLY G's GOURMET COOKIE DOUGH drive! If you've never heard of them before, the dough comes frozen in a tub. You defrost it, place spoonfuls of dough on a tray & bake for 10 minutes. Leftover dough goes back in the freezer for next time. Perfect for unexpected visitors (or when you have the munchies & the cupboards are bare) Tubs are $13ea which is actually cheaper than previous years, part sale from every tub goes to Cancer Council of SA. Place your order by 5th August with delivery 21st August. We sure are living up to our 'Dough Raisers' name

04.01.2022 OUR GRAND TOTAL RAISED IS ................ $8,767!! Pick a stick raised $350 & the Raffle raised $322 Give yourselves a HUGE pat on the back Dough Raisers ... We are still doing the monthly Bunnings cake stalls & we have one this Saturday to coincide with Mothers Day. PLEASE LET ME KNOW if you are baking. Helen will be looking after the stall. Thanks Helen

03.01.2022 Tonight I attended the final info session for this weekends Relay. It is going to be the BEST RELAY EVER! (I know I say it every year) We have an awesome position on the track, they have so many fantastic things organised to keep us entertained over the 19 hours including 'novelty laps'. We have a skipping lap, a conga lap, a midnight pyjama lap & a wear a bra on the outside of your clothes lap!!! also a photo booth & silent disco. CANT WAIT!!!
03.01.2022 We were a little light on for cakes to sell this month so wasn't expecting to break any records fir money raised. I've very excited to announce that Today's total raised is $428!!! Thanks so much to Kym for looking after the stall & of course to our merry band of bakers. Kym said she met some lovely people today & heard some touching stories of people's experience with cancer. She may have even recruited a new team for Cancer Council SA's Relay For Life! Great work Kym

02.01.2022 Our first BUNNINGS cake stall for 2015 is on this Saturday. We still have quite a lot of cakes left over from Government House (I froze them) so we don't need anyone to bake this month. Many thanks to Janet Poser for looking after the stall with me. Reminder: we have been allocated this cake stall on THE FIRST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH & it is a fantastic way to raise money so please keep this in mind if you are able to help out with baking &/or helping with the stall.
