12.01.2022 Friday night saw Round 2 of the Marano's Fuel T20 Big Bash played under lights at the Mudpit. Game 1 saw MM’s post an improved total of 139 but it wasn’t enough to take the win with NFP’s chasing it down with 4 overs to spare. Game 2 came down to the last ball of the game with Port Douglas Gym taking a narrow win over Camo’s. After two rounds the ladder looks as follows. Next week Camo’s take on ladder leaders NFP at 6pm followed by MM v PD Gym at 8pm.

12.01.2022 The Marano's Fuel T20 Big Bash continues once again this Friday. Ladder is looking interesting! At 6pm sharp, we have Camo's taking on Port Douglas Gym. Can the Camo’s make it 1-1 against PD Gym, or will PD Gym claim another victory over the Camo’s? Then at 8pm, we have The Douglas Desperados taking on NFP. Desperados looking for their first victory. 11.01.2022 Alright NQ Homes Tropical Living Pty Ltd Muddies, Isolation boredom has set in and Steve and DK have researched what the Muddies team of the decade would look like. There’s four separate categories that have been developed. Junior team of the decade, Senior 1 Day, Senior 2 Day and Senior T20. The Muddies junior team of the decade (2010-2020) is below with the rest to follow over the next week or so. The teams have been chosen based solely on MyCricket records which are statistical but not subjective so we are very keen to hear your thoughts.

09.01.2022 Hi there Muddies community. Your committee has been hard at work recruiting new players during the pandemic/off season. We’d like to introduce our newest recruit, and just for the record he’s a local and not from Victoria. He’s also here for the love of the game and not a paid player.

We now have a completed shade structure for scorers, spectators and players to use, along with some roof ventilation freshly installed. Great work from these volunteers of our not-for-profit sporting club.

05.01.2022 Good evening everyone. This is Ben Vikionkorpi. I'm messaging on behalf of CFN Junior F&G. We have made a decision regarding scoring for all junior formats. All... games are to continue to be scored, even after a result has been achieved. CFN playing conditions currently say to stop scoring however, this is outdated, and is changing as of now. This decision has been made to give purpose to the game, to allow players more game time, to score runs, take wickets and have them count in mycricket. This scenario only exists when the team batting second passes the first batting team's score and still have overs remaining. This is not designed to allow dominant players to keep dominating. It would be great if we could play in the spirit of cricket and allow our developing cricketers the opportunity to have a bat and bowl and hopefully get some stats on mycricket. So for all of tomorrow's junior format games and from hereon in for the rest of the season, can you please inform all your junior coaches and scorers to keep scoring the whole innings, even after a result is finished. Scores will be entered on mycricket. I'll just clarify with James Hopes Cup (Tier 2) that the batting innings of each team is complete at the loss of 8 wickets. If you have more players, the it is the clubs responsibility to rotate players around from week to week. Any questions, please ask me. I hope this makes sense. Thanks Ben

01.01.2022 The Marano's Fuel T20 Big Bash continues this Friday with Camo's taking on Douglas Desperados at 6pm and the Port Douglas Gym taking on ladder leaders NFP at 8pm. Last Friday night saw Camos lose narrowly to ladder leaders NFP while Douglas Desperados who are improving each week put in a strong performance against PD Gym but fell short on their run chase. After 3 rounds the ladder looks like this -
